Clinical Research Of Gelatin Microneedle Patch For Simple Obesity

Objective:This project combines the new microneedle technology with the traditional Chinese medicine acupoints to observe the clinical efficacy of gelatin micro-needle acupoint patch in the treatment of simple obesity,to explore a more effective method for treating obesity,and to provide scientific basis for clinical application.Methods: In this study,69 patients were included,and 35 patients were assigned to the control group and 34 patients to the treatment group according to the principle of randomized control.A total of 62 patients completed the trial,including 31 patients in the control group and 31 patients in the treatment group.The control group was treated with acupoint catgut embedding,and the treatment group was treated with gelatin micro-needle acupoint patch.The treatment period was 8 weeks,and 2 weeks were followed up once to observe the changes of body weight,body mass index,waist circumference,blood lipid,fasting blood glucose,fasting insulin,insulin resistance index and insulin sensitivity index before and after treatment,and to make a comprehensive evaluation on the clinical efficacy of gelatin micro-needle acupoint patch in the treatment of obesity.Results: After research,the effective rate of the gelatin micro-needle acupoint patch group was 74.19%,and the effective rate of the acupoint catgut embedding group was 81.65%,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),indicating that both acupoint catgut embedding and gelatin micro-needle acupoint patch had clinical efficacy in treating obesity,but the acupoint catgut embedding group has a higher total efficiency.The study shows that both treatment methods can significantly reduce the weight,body mass index,and waist circumference of obese patients(P <0.05),and can significantly reduce the levels of CRP and TNF-ɑ in obese patients(P <0.05).Obese patients also showed significant advantages in fasting insulin and insulin resistance index(P <0.05).Compared with acupoint catgut embedding,gelatin micro-needle acupoint patch treatment can significantly reduce total cholesterol and triglyceride levels in obese patients(P <0.05),while acupoint catgut embedding treatment has no significant effect on blood lipids in obese patients(P> 0.05).And the satisfaction evaluation of the gelatin micro-needle acupoint patch group was significantly higher than that of the acupoint catgut embedding group(P <0.05).Conclusion: Gelatin micro-needle acupoint patch treatment can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with simple obesity,reduce the body weight,body mass index,waist circumference,improve insulin resistance,increase insulin sensitivity,and significantly improve lipid metabolism and chronic inflammation in obese patients status.Therefore,gelatin micro-needle acupoint patch is an effective,safe and convenient clinical treatment method for the treatment of simple obesity,and provides a new method and ideas for the prevention and treatment of simple obesity.
