Clinical Efficacy Evaluation Of Deep-needling Ba Liao Combined With Triplet Of Viable Bifidobacterium Tablet In The Treatment Of Senile Functional Constipation

Purpose: A randomized controlled trial was conducted to prove the efficacy and safety in the treatment of senile functional constipation by deep-needling Ba Liao combined with Triplet of Viable Bifidobacterium tablet for oral administration,searching the advantages of combining TCM and western medicine.Based on the experimental results and the basic theoretical methods of combining TCM and western medicine,this project verified the treatment of deep-needling Ba Liao point combined with Triplet of Viable Bifidobacterium tablet,and promoted this program in clinical practice.Methods: The 70 patients who were in the anorectal outpatient department of the affiliated hospital of Chengdu University of TCM met the inclusion criteria of this subject were randomly divided into observation group(38 cases)and control group(32 cases).The Triplet of Viable Bifidobacterium tablet were using by the treatment group,and the observation group was taking deep-needling Ba Liao,and on the basis of general treatment in both groups.Both treatments lasted 4 weeks and were recorded.The clinical symptom score,efficacy and safety of the two groups were infallibly compared after the treatment of every week.Results:(1)There was no obvious statistical difference(P>0.05)between the two groups in the general condition(gender,age,course of disease)and the clinical symptoms before treatment(frequency of defecation,defecating time,difficulty of defecation in different degrees,stool characteristics(Bristol typing),anus bloat and uncomfortable,and frequency of abdominal distension).(2)Effect: The total during treatment gradually increased efficiency of the two groups,the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher after treatment week,the difference(P<0.05)between the two groups was statistically significant.(3)Two groups of clinical symptoms,treatment group 4 weeks after treatment,the clinical symptom scores significantly lower than the control group,wherein the frequency of bowel movements,the degree of difficulty of defecation,bowel evacuation,bloating frequency treatment of clinical score significantly lower than control group,the difference(P<0.05)between the two groups was statistically significant.(4)In the treatment group,the frequency of defecation,the time of defecation,defecation difficulty and defecation characteristics were all reduced after the first week of treatment,anal distension discomfort was all reduced after the first and fourth weeks of treatment,and abdominal distension frequency was all reduced after the second and third weeks of treatment,the difference(P<0.05)between the each groups was statistically significant.(5)Comparison of the clinical symptom in control group,the defecate difficulty in 1?3 weeks after the treatment were lower,after the treatment of two weeks,the frequency of abdominal distension decreased significantly,defecation time,the bulge and uncomfortableness of anus were reduced at 3 weeks after treatment,and defecation characteristics were reduced after 4 weeks treatment,the difference(P<0.05)between the each groups was statistically significant.(6)Comparison of clinical symptoms between two groups: The scores of all clinical symptoms in the two groups decreased after four weeks of treatment compared with before treatment,the difference(P<0.05)between the two groups was statistically significant.(7)Security comparison:Four week‘s treatment later,Significant adverse reactions didn‘t occur in the control group,and just one mild adverse event occurred in the treatment group,there was no obvious statistical difference(P>0.05)between the two groups.Conclusions: By observing the clinical efficacy of elderly patients with functional constipation in randomized controlled trials,we have concluded that the deep-needling Ba Liao combined with Triplet of Viable Bifidobacterium tablet in treating elderly functional constipation has a more significant effect and a faster onset of time,and In terms of improving the frequency of defecation,the difficulty of defecation,the defecation traits,and the frequency of abdominal distension,the curative effect is obviously better than that of oral bifidobacterium triple live bacteria tablets.
