Clinical Study On Xuanqing Chuanke Decoction In The Treatment Of Acute Exacerbation Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (Exterior Cold And Interior Heat Syndrome)

Objective:To study the efficacy and safety of xuanqing chuanke decoction on the patients with acute exacerbation of copd in exterior cold and interior syndrome.Methods:64 cases of patients with with acute exacerbation of copd in exterior cold and interior syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The control group was treated with purely western medicine treatment,Including anti-infection,oxygen inhalation,atomization,spasmolysis,reduce phlegmso and so on.Treatment group was treated with purely western medicine treatment and xuanqing chuanke decoction?Single herbal concentrate-granules?.Changes of Score of TCM symptoms,WBC,NEUT%,C-Reactive Protein,arterial blood gas?Pa O₂,Pa CO₂?and pulmonary function?FEV₁%pred?FEV₁/FVC?were statistically analyzed.And we evaluated the efficacy of experimental drugs.Results:The study included 64 cases,1 case fell off during the study,so finally there were 63 cases,32 cases in the control group and 31 cases in the treatment group.There was no significant difference in age,sex,smoking history,course of disease,Scores of TCM symptoms,WBC,NEUT%,C-Reactive Protein,Pa O₂,Pa CO₂,FEV1%pred and FEV1/FVC between the two groups?P>0.05?,so they had comparability.After treatment,the total effective rate of the control group was87.5%,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.8%,and the difference of the curative effect between two groups had statisitical signioficance?P<0.05?.And there was statistically significant difference in the syndromes of cough,expectoration,wheeze,rhinobyon,running nose,thirst,constipation,WBC,NEUT%,Pa O₂and Pa CO₂between the two groups?P<0.05?,and the improvement in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.There wasn't statistically significant difference in the syndromes of wheezing sound,dyspnea,aversion to cold,fever,C-Reactive Protein,FEV₁%pred and FEV₁/FVC between the two groups?P>0.05?.Safety evaluation:no adverse reactions occurred in both groups.The results showed that the two groups had better safety of treatment.Conclusion:Experimental results showed that Compared with western medicine treatment,western medicine treatment combined with xuanqing chuanke decoction had better effect in the patients with acute exacerbation of copd in exterior cold and interior heat type.
