Objective: To observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of Anshen Jinggan Decoction in the treatment of children with tic disorders of liver-kidney deficiency type based on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)theory,to investigate the advantages of TCM in the treatment of children with tic disorders and to enrich clinical treatment options for tic disorders. Methods: 1.Literature research: Research progress of TCM and western medicine on tic disorders were reviewed through literature research.2.Theoretical research: The theoretical basis for treating tic disorders from the perspective of liver-kidney deficiency were clarified with TCM theory to explore the guiding function of this theory in the treatment of children with tic disorders.3.Clinical research: 70 cases were collected based on defined criteria and randomly divided into treatment group(35 cases)and control group(35 cases).5 cases eliminated, the final number of the trial was 75,with 33 in the treatment group and 32 in the control group. The treatment group was given Anshen Jinggan Decoction and the control group was given tiapride hydrochloride tablets.Taking 8 weeks as a course of treatment, both groups were given 1 course of treatment. The changes of scale scores and adverse events were observed and recorded before and after treatment.Software SPSS 26.0 was used for statistical analysis based on the collection and arrangement of data. Results: 1.Baseline analysis: There were no statistically significant differences(P>0.05)between the 2 groups in gender, age, course of the disease and scores in YGTSS and TCM syndrome scale, and the statistical analysis was comparable.2.Intra-group comparison: There were statistically significant differences(P<0.01)within the 2 groups before and after treatment in scores in YGTSS and TCM syndrome scale.3.Inter-group comparison: There were statistically significant differences(P<0.01)between the 2 groups after treatment in scores in YGTSS and TCM syndrome scale.4.Total efficacy: The total efficacy were observed for 90.91% and 75.00% of the 2 groups in terms of twitch symptoms, and the total efficacy of TCM syndromes were observed for 90.91% and 75.00%.There were statistically significant differences in efficacy of both twitch symptoms and TCM syndromes between the 2 groups(P<0.01).5.Safety: Adverse effect rates were observed for 6.06% and 25.00% of patients in the 2 groups, and there were statistically significant differences in adverse effects rate between the 2 groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Anshen Jinggan Decoction is effective in the treatment of children with tic disorders of liver-kidney deficiency type, whose safety and efficacy of both twitch symptoms and TCM syndromes are superior to tiapride hydrochloride tablets.2.It is safe and reliable of Anshen Jinggan Decoction in the treatment of tic disorders, verifying the feasibility of the theory of treating tic disorders from the perspective of liver-kidney deficiency, which is worthy of clinical application. |
