Objective:The intestinal flora was compared by the 16 Sr DNA gene sequence analysis in the psoriasis patients and the healthy controls,in order to exploring the structure and the diversity of intestinal flora of psoriasis patients, revealing the etiology of psoriasis, and providing the treatment evidence for the psoriasis. Methods: The stool specimens were collected from 12 healthy controls(group C)and 12 psoriasis patients(group P),who visited the department of dermatology at the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University, from July 2019 to January 2020.The total bacterial DNA was extracted from the stool samples by the CTAB method. After amplification by PCR,the DNA was sequenced by the Illumina Nova Seq platform. The results were analyzed by the OTU cluster analysis, and then the species annotation and the difference between groups were performed.Results:1.There were no statistically significant differences in gender, age, and BMI between psoriasis patients and healthy controls(P>0.05).2.1,225 OTUs in total were obtained by the OTU cluster analysis.Among them,521 OTUs were found in two groups,293 only in group P, and 408 only in group C.3.The sample size was not small, according to the result of the ?-diversity analysis. And there was no statistical difference in the abundance of the intestinal flora between the two groups(P>0.05).4.There was significant statistical difference in the structure of the intestinal flora between the two groups, according to the result of the ?-diversity analysis(P<0.05).5.There was significant difference in the abundance of 13 iconic species between the two groups by the LEf Se analysis. In the group P,the number of Megamonas,Escherichia coli,Veillonellaceae increased, but the number of Firmicutes and Fusicatenibacter reduced. Conclusions: 1.Compared with the healthy control, there was significant statistical difference in the structure of the intestinal flora in the psoriasis patients;2.Compared with the healthy control, there was no statistical difference in the abundance of the intestinal flora in the psoriasis patients;3.Changes in intestinal flora may be involved in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.
