Clinical Study On The Effect Of Yang Jing Decoction On Teratozoospermia Of Kidney-Yin Deficiency Type

Objective: By observing the "Yangjing Decoction" formulated with the method of nourishing the kidney-yin which improved the proportion of normal sperm(%),sperm DNA fragmentation index(DFI)and sperm deformity index(SDI),teratozoospermia index(TZI),and TCM syndrome scores,so we can evaluate the efficacy and safety of Yangjing Decoction,and explore the scientific connotation of the theory of "Yang transforming qi,yin forming shape" in treating male deformity spermatozoa.Methods: A total of 72 patients who were treated at the Reproductive Maternal and Child Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2017 to September 2019 with malformed spermatozoa were identified and typed.And selected subjects with kidney-yin deficiency type Among them.According to the random and controlled method,the subjects were divided into experimental group and control group,36 cases in the experimental group and 36 cases in the control group.After taking the drug continuously for 12 weeks,we evaluated the sperm morphology,DFI,SDI,TZI and TCM syndrome scores before and after taking the drug through statistical analysis.Results: After the experiment was completed,2 cases fell off in the test group,4 cases fell off in the control group,and 34 cases in the experimental group and 32 cases in the control group finally.The statistical analysis of the ratio of normal sperm morphology,DFI,and TCM syndrome scores of the experimental group was statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between SDI and TZI(P=0.05);Statistical analysis of DFI and TCM syndrome score of the control group subjects was performed,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The statistical analysis of the ratio of normal sperm morphology,TZI,and SDI data before and after treatment was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).We analyze the difference between the data of the two groups of subjects before and after treatment.Among the statistical analysis,the difference in the ratio of normal sperm morphology was statistically significant(P <0.05),while the difference in DFI,TZI,SDI,and TCM syndrome scores was not statistically significant(P> 0.05);t The effective rate of the overall test group was 70.59%,and the other effective rate was 75%.,and the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).Conclusions: 1.Yangjing Decoction can improve the ratio of normal sperm morphology,DFI,as well as improve sperm quality,but it has no obvious improvement on TZI and SDI.Liuweidihuangwan Decoction can improve sperm DNA damage,but has no significant effect on normal sperm morphology,TZI and SDI.2.Both Yangjing Decoction and Liuweidihuangwan Decoction can improve the sperm DNA fragmentation rate,and there is no significant difference of them.3.Yangjing Decoction and Liuweidihuangwan Decoction can improve the symptoms of TCM in patients with abnormal spermatozoa,and there is no significant difference between the two groups.4.This clinical trial preliminarily proves that the safety of Yangjing Decoction and Liuwei Dihuang pill is good.
