Objective: This study implemented a TCM health management program featuring TCM dialectical diet, traditional health sports, and five-tone emotional recuperation, and observed its impact on type 2 diabetes patients' self-management knowledge, attitude, behavior, and blood glucose indicators. It mainly solves the problem of insufficient self-management ability of patients with type 2 diabetes, provides Chinese medicine ideas for the prevention and management of diabetes, and provides a reference for the application and promotion of diabetes health management. Methods: 128 cases of type 2 diabetes were enrolled, and were randomly divided into control group and test group at a ratio of 1: 1.The basic treatment follows the subject's original protocol. The subjects in the control group performed routine diabetes health management on their own after medical staff gave them routine life intervention guidance. The test group was composed of professional medical staff, professional nutritionists, and professional Tai Chi coaches under the guidance of the theory of syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine to develop individualized TCM health management solutions for subjects from diet, exercise, emotions, etc.,through the mobile Internet We Chat platform Achieve the guidance of TCM characteristics on diet, exercise and emotion for the subjects. After 3 months of intervention, the self-management knowledge, attitude, behavior scores and blood glucose levels of the two groups of subjects were investigated before and after the intervention to evaluate the intervention effect of the program.Results:(1)After the intervention of TCM health management, the diabetes self-management knowledge and TCM knowledge of the experimental group were significantly improved before comparison(P<0.01),and there was a significant statistical difference with the control group(?P<0.01).(2)After TCM health management intervention, the diabetes self-management attitude score in the experimental group was significantly higher than before the intervention(P<0.01),and the psychological and emotional scores were significantly reduced(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,it had significant statistics.Differences(?P<0.01);(3)The diabetes self-management behavior score in the experimental group gradually increased at three time points: 4 weeks of intervention,8 weeks of intervention, and 12 weeks of intervention(after intervention). There was a statistically significant difference from the baseline group(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in management behavior scores between the 4-week intervention and the 8-week intervention compared with the baseline group(P>0.05),and the 12-week intervention(after the intervention)was statistically different from the baseline comparison(P<0.05);the experimental group and the control group The contrast difference between the groups increased with time: there was a statistical difference between the groups at 4 and 8 weeks of intervention(?P<0.05),and there was a significant statistical difference between the groups at 12 weeks of intervention(after intervention)(? P<0.01).(4)After the intervention of TCM health management, the fasting blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin levels in the experimental group were significantly reduced within the group(P<0.01),and there was statistical significance compared with the control group(?P<0.05).Self-management knowledge, attitude, and total behavior scores were correlated with fasting blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin levels(P<0.01),which were significantly negatively correlated. Conclusion: For patients with type 2 diabetes,TCM health management can effectively improve their self-management behaviors by improving their diabetes self-management knowledge and TCM knowledge level, improving their self-management attitude towards diabetes, and reducing the psychological and emotional burden of diabetes.
