ObjectiveStudy of traditional Chinese medicine intervention and health management of clinical effect on patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, the effectiveness of comprehensive intervention evaluation of TCM emotional counseling, diet therapy and exercise regimen of TCM such as behavior in the management of diabetes education, give full play to the characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine,to provide a clinical basis for the formulation and the implementation with Chinese medicine comprehensive intervention program for the behavior of type 2 diabetes,to provide new ideas for the management of chronic disease of TCM in type 2 diabetes mellitus. And the individual behavior intervention prescription was formulated with the help of physique.MethodsMethods a prospective randomized controlled trial was conducted.A total of 158 patients with type 2 diabetes in the chronic disease clinic of Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital, including 150 effective cases, were randomly divided into the control group and the intervention group, with 75 cases in each group. The control group received routine health education and exercise diet education, intervention group in the control group were given TCM Intervention, including comprehensive intervention, diet therapy and recuperation of emotional health movement.Study on the time for 3 months, were observed before and after the intervention of two groups of fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 hour postprandial blood glucose(2hPBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),body mass index(BMI),waist hip ratio(WHR)and the change of symptom scores,EQ5 D health scale score, self health score.Excel table was used to input data and database was established.Statistical analysis was performed by SPSS 21 statistical software.Chi square test,t test and rank sum test were used to analyze and evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results1.After three months in the intervention group,BMI and WHR decreased significantly compared with those before intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In control group,BMI and WHR decreased after three months, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference of BMI between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in WHR between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the difference between the intervention group and the control group 3 months after BMI and WHR(P>0.05).2.Three months after intervention,FBG,2hPBG and HbA1 c decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the control group,FBG,2hPBG and HbA1 c decreased after three months, and there was significant difference in FBG and 2hPBG(P<0.05),but there was no statistical difference between HbA1 c and HbA1c(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in 2hPBG between the two groups after intervention(P>0.05),but the difference between FBG and HbA1 c was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference of FBG,2hPBG and HbA1 c between the intervention group and the control group after 3 months was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.After 3 months in the intervention group, the score of the comparison of self health and the scale of EQ5 D was increased, and the score of TCM syndrome was lower than that before the group, and the difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the control group, the score of self health and EQ5 D scale was increased after 3 months, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the score of TCM syndrome was lower than that before the group, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).There was a significant difference in the scores of self health,EQ5 D scale and TCM syndromes between the two groups after intervention(P<0.05).After 3 months, the difference of EQ5 D scale and TCM syndrome score in the intervention group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the difference was not statistically significant before and after the self-health score(P>0.05).Conclusion1.The behavior intervention and health management of traditional Chinese medicine can reduce the body mass index of patients with type 2 diabetes more than simple lifestyle intervention, but the improvement effect on central obesity is not clear.2.The behavior intervention and health management of Chinese medicine can improve FBG,2hPBG,HbA1 c,improve the quality of life of patients, improve the TCM syndrome score. And reduce the FBG,HbA1 c,improve the quality of life better than the behavior intervention.3.The Constitution classification has a certain guiding role in the formulation of individualized behavior intervention program of Chinese medicine.4.It is feasible to apply the behavior intervention and health management of traditional Chinese medicine to the management of chronic disease of type 2 diabetes.
