Objectives Investigate the current status of the status of cognitive impairment and perceived stress among breast cancer patients during chemotherapy in third-grade class-A hospitals in Tangshan,to analyze the factors affecting perceived stress in patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy,to explore the correlation between cognitive impairment and perceived stress,to analyze the factors affecting cognitive impairment in patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy, and to provide objective evidence for early detection of problems in clinical patients and timely targeted interventions. Methods According to unified inclusion and discharge criteria, totally 407 breast cancer patients from third-grade class-A hospitals in Tangshan were conduced by questionnaire investigation from October 2018 to March 2019.Survey tools included self-designed questionnaire(including age, occupation, marital status, etc.),the Chinese Perceived Stress Scale(CPSS),the Chinese version of the cancer treatment function assessment-cognitive function scale(FACT-Cog),the stigma questionnaire, the health literacy management scale(He LMS)for patients with chronic diseases, and the cognitive needs scale. All data were established with Excel and analysised with SPSS17.0 package. The statistical methods include t-test analysis of variance, descriptive analysis test, analysis, pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis and. Results 1 The total score of perceived stress during chemotherapy for breast cancer patients was(42.11±4.20),the score of sense of loss of control was(22.24±2.62),and the score of tension dimension was(19.89±2.29).2 The total score of cognitive impairment in patients with breast cancer was(85.39±16.11),which belongs to moderate cognitive impairment.Among the scores of various dimensions of cognitive impairment, the perceived cognitive impairment score was the highest(44.28±14.43),and the evaluation score of others was the lowest(7.33±3.06).3 In the univariate analysis of the perceived stress of breast cancer patients, age, marital status, monthly family income, mental state, personality type, family history of breast cancer, health literacy, tumor staging, and chemotherapy cycle of breast cancer patients stress had an effect, and the differences were statistically significant.4 It was show that tumor staging, health literacy, stigma, and chemotherapy cycle were the main factors affecting the perceived stress of patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy in multivariate regression analysis.5 Correlation analysis: The three dimensions of cognitive impairment perceived by FACT-Cog,the evaluation of others, and the impact on quality of life were positively correlated with the dimension of sense of uncontrollable stress(r=0.188?0.414,P<0.01);there was a negative correlation between perceived cognitive ability and sense of loss of control(r=-0.164,P<0.01);there was no correlation between each dimension in the FACT-Cog scale and the dimension of tension in CPSS(P>0.05).6 It was show that age, place of residence, source of hospitalization costs, mental state, tumor staging, chemotherapy cycle, and stigma were the main factors affecting cognitive impairment patients withbreast cancer during chemotherapy in multiple regression analysis.7 In the univariate analysis of cognitive impairment in breast cancer patients, age, occupation, place of residence, mental state, personality type, family history of breast cancer, tumor staging, chemotherapy cycle, perceived stress, need for cognition, and stigma were affecting cognitive impairment patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy, and the differences were statistically significant. Conclusions 1 It can be seen that the patient's stress is greater, and the patient's psychological area should be focused on and the patient should be comforted and enlightened in time.2 The main factors affecting the perceived stress of patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy were tumor staging, chemotherapy cycle, stigma, health literacy.3 The cognitive impairment of patients with breast cancer was at a medium level.Should focus on the improvement of others' views and quality of life.4Cognitive impairment in patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy was positively correlated with the total score of perceived stress. The higher the perceived stress, the higher the cognitive impairment in breast cancer patients.5 The main factors that affect the cognitive impairment of breast cancer patients during chemotherapy are age, place of residence, mental state, tumor stage, chemotherapy cycle, stigma, need for cognition, and perceived stress.Figure0;Table13;Reference 115...
