Objective: To study the expression of serum leptin and adiponectin in patients with pancreatic cancer, and to explore the relationship between serum leptin and adiponectin and pancreatic cancer and its clinical significance. Methods: From May 2018 to October 2019,30 patients with pancreatic cancer hospitalized in Qingdao municipal hospital were selected as the study object, which was set as the pancreatic cancer group;30 healthy physical examiners from the physical examination center in the same period were selected as the control group. In the two groups,3ml of fasting venous blood was collected in the morning, centrifuged and placed in a refrigerator at-80 ? for standby. The expression levels of leptin and adiponectin were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).General clinical data such as sex, age, smoking, body mass index(BMI),triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein(LDL-C)and high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C),etc.Spss25.0 software was used to analyze all clinical data.p < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant. Results: 1.There was no significant difference in gender, age,BMI,TG,TC and LDL-C between the two groups(P < 0.05).2.The level of serum leptin expression in pancreatic cancer group was(1.21 ± 0.50)ng / ml lower than that in control group(1.54 ± 0.55)ng /ml,the difference was statistically significant(t =-2.40,P = 0.02);while the level of serum adiponectin expression in pancreatic cancer group was(2.08 ± 0.37)?g/ml higher than that in control group(1.78 ± 0.26)?g/ml,the difference was statistically significant(t= 3.60,P = 0.001).3.There was no significant difference in serum leptin and adiponectin expression with gender and age in pancreatic cancer group(P > 0.05);there was no significant difference in tumor diameter, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage in pancreatic cancer group(P > 0.05).4.ROC curve analysis showed that serum leptin could predict the risk of pancreatic cancer, the area under the curve(AUC)was 0.677,(P =0.018),when the cutoff value is 0.95ng/ml,the sum of sensitivity and specificity is the largest, the specificity is 96.7%,the sensitivity is 33.3%,and adiponectin predicted therisk of pancreatic cancer, the area under the curve(AUC)was 0.739,(P = 0.001),when the cutoff value is 2.05?g/ml,the sum of sensitivity and specificity is the largest, the specificity is 83.3%,the sensitivity is 70.0%.Conclusions: 1.The expression of leptin decreased in the serum of patients with pancreatic cancer, while adiponectin increased in the serum of patients with pancreatic cancer, the level of serum leptin and adiponectin can predict the occurrence of pancreatic cancer to some extent.2.The expression of serum leptin and adiponectin was not correlated with age, gender, tumor diameter,TNM stage and lymph node metastasis.
