Objective:Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in digestive system tumors.Understanding the factors related to the occurrence and development of gastric cancer can provide patients with better preventive measures and more reasonable treatment options. The occurrence of gastric cancer is the result of a combination of factors, including environmental and genetic factors. The ABO blood group system is by far the most important system in human blood transfusion, which is involved in the pathophysiology of many human diseases.Since Aird first proposed that the occurrence of gastric cancer is related to the ABO blood group, the relationship between the ABO blood group system and the risk of gastric cancer has been widely studied, but it's conclusions are still controversial. Therefore, this paper analyzed the ABO blood group of gastric cancer patients in Qingdao area to investigate the correlation between gastric cancer and ABO blood group.Helicobacter pylori is considered a major risk factor for gastric cancer.H.pylori infection and clinical results are related to host gene polymorphisms,H.pylori virulence genes, and environmental factors. In recent years, the correlation between Helicobacter pylori infection and ABO blood group has been widely studied, but there is no consensus conclusion on its correlation. Therefore, this study also analyzed Helicobacter pylori infection in patients with gastric cancer,in order to explore the situation of Helicobacter pylori infection in patients with gastric cancer of different blood groups. Methods:Patients with gastric malignant tumors diagnosed by pathology who were admitted to Qingdao Municipal Hospital from January 2014 to January 2019 were collected, and a total of 1544 patients(527 newly diagnosed gastric cancer patients)were selected. The healthy population who were admitted to the hospital during the same period were selected The control group,a total of 978 cases.Patient exclusion factors in the observation group included the history or evidence of any other cancers,or the presence of other metastatic cancers of unknown origin. The gender, age,ABO blood group,Helicobacter pylori infection, history of hypertension, and diabetes history of patients were statistically collated, and the relationship between gastric cancer and ABO blood group and the infection status of Helicobacter pylori in patients with gastric cancer of different blood groups were discussed.Results:1.The analysis of 1544 gastric cancer patients and 978 healthy people in this study showed that there was a significant difference in blood group distribution between gastric cancer patients and normal population:blood group distribution of gastric cancer patients was A>O>B>AB,while blood group distribution of normal control population was B>A>O>AB;there is a significant difference in the blood type B distribution between patients with gastric cancer and the control group, and the exposure odds ratio(OR)is 0.783(95%CI:0.658-0.932,?~2=7.375,p=0.007),suggesting that the people with blood type B has a lower risk of gastric cancer;there is no statistical difference in the distribution of other blood groups(p>0.05);male patients have a higher risk of gastric cancer(OR=1.803,p<0.001).In the male population, there was no significant difference in the distribution of blood groups between patients with gastric cancer and the control group(the blood type B OR=0.881,95%CI:0.707-1.097,?~2=1.159,p=0.282);while in the female population, there was a significant difference in the blood type B between patients with gastric cancer and the control group(OR=0.652,95%CI:0.485-0.877,?~2=7.635,p=0.006).Analysis of 527 newly diagnosed gastric cancer patients found that CEA(H=8.724,p=0.033)and CA153(H=60.21,p<0.001)were significantly different in each ABO blood group level, among which the expression of CA153 was more obvious in patients with different blood groups:the expression of CA153 was higher in patients with the blood type O and B than in patients with blood type A and AB;The expression level of CA125(H=3.672,p=0.299)and CA199(H=6.452,p=0.092)in each ABO blood group has no significant difference.2.This study analyzed 527 cases of Helicobacter pylori infection in newly diagnosed gastric cancer patients,of which 284 patients were tested for Helicobacter pylori infection. There was no statistical difference in the distribution of Helicobacter pylori infection between different gender among patients with gastric cancers(?~2=0.508,OR=1.306,95%CI:0.711-2.400,p=0.476).Helicobacter pylori infection was statistically different in patients with different blood groups of gastric cancer(p<0.05):Helicobacter pylori infection was lower in gastric cancer patients with blood type B(?~2=4.938,OR=0.478,95%CI:0.257-0.888,p=0.026),and there was no statistical difference in Helicobacter pylori infection among other blood groups(p>0.05).3.This study analyzed the hypertension, diabetes, and Helicobacter pylori infection in 527 newly diagnosed gastric cancer patients. There is a significant difference in the risk of diabetes among patients with different blood groups of gastric cancer(p<0.05).Among them, patients with blood type B have a higher risk of diabetes(?~2=4.257,OR=1.724,95%CI:1.056-2.815,p=0.038),suggesting that people with blood type B who has diabetes have a higher risk of gastric cancer;this association was not found in patients with hypertension(p>0.05).There was no significant difference between the H.pylori-infected group and the non-infected group among gastric cancer patients suffering from hypertension and diabetes(p>0.05).Conclusions:1.There is a correlationship between ABO blood group and the occurrence of gastric cancer. The population of blood type B has the lowest risk of developing gastric cancer, which reduces the risk of gastric cancer.Although it increases the incidence of gastric cancer to a certain extent among the blood type A and AB,there is no statistical difference; The role of blood type B in reducing the risk of gastric cancer is more pronounced in female populations, while it is lessened in male populations.2.The risk of Helicobacter pylori infection in gastric cancer patients with blood type B is lower;there is no significant correlation between Helicobacter pylori infection in gastric cancer patients with gender.3.Patients with blood type B have a higher risk of diabetes,,and this correlation has not been seen in gastric cancer patients with hypertension;there is no significant correlation between hypertension, diabetes and Helicobacter pylori infection in the gastric cancer patients.
