Correlation Between Helicobacter Pylori Infection And The Primary Gastric Lymphoma In Xinjiang

Objective: To investigate the relationship between Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection and primary gastric lymphoma(PGL) in Xinjiang. Methods: The pathologic features of 49 cases of PGL were studied along with immunohistochemical study of antibodies including LCA,CD20,CD3,Ki67. Hp were stained with anti-Hp and methylene blue.Choose 42 cases of chronic mild atrophic gastritis and chronic moderate atrophic gastritis respectively as a control. Results:①There were MALT lymphoma 22 cases,DLBCL 25 cases, one case of Burkitt lymphoma, and one case of Peripheral T-cell lymphoma.②In the 44 cases of primary gastric lymphoma with gastric mucosa,the expression of anti-Hp has irrelevant to gender,age,and nation(P>0.05);The frequency of anti-Hp positivity is 40 % in MALT lymphoma and 12.5% in non-MALT lymphoma, with a statistical significance( P<0.05);③The frequency of anti-Hp positivity in chronic mild atrophic gastritis and chronic moderate atrophic gastritis is 73.81% and 66.67% respectively, with no statistical significance( P>0.05). The frequency of anti-Hp positivity in chronic atrophic gastritis is higher than that in gastric MALT lymphoma and gastric non-MALT lymphoma( P<0.01).④The low-expression and over-expression of Ki-67 in MALT lymphoma was 10 and 12 cases respectively.The low-expression and over-expression of Ki-67 in non-MALT lymphoma was 2 and 25 cases respectively,with a statistical significance( P<0.01).⑤Detect the Helicobacter pylori infection in all of specimen of chronic atrophic gastritis and gastric lymphoma with immunohistochemical staining and methylene blue staining, the total infection rate of Hp is 54.69% and 50%( P>0.05).By this two staining methods, the infection rate of Hp in chronic mild atrophic gastritis is 73.81% and 66.67%;the infection rate of Hp in chronic moderate atrophic gastritis is 66.67% and 64.29%;the infection rate of Hp in gastric lymphoma is 25% and 20.45%.The difference of this two staining methods is not significant(P>0.05).Conclusions:①The infection rate of Hp in primary gastric lymphoma has irrelevant to gender,age,and national.②There is close correlation between Hp infection and MALT lymphoma.③The infection rate of Hp in primary gastric lymphoma is lower than that in chronic atrophic gastritis in Xinjiang.④Detect the Hp infection by immunohistochemistry or methylene blue has not significant difference.
