Objective:bronchial asthma is a common respiratory disease characterized by chronic airway inflammation, which is characterized by recurrent wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, cough and other symptoms. It often attacks and intensifies at night and/or in the morning, accompanied by variable air flow restriction[4].At present, bronchial asthma has become a global chronic disease. There are about 300 million people suffering from asthma. There are about 20 million people suffering from asthma in China. With the aggravation of air pollution and other factors, the morbidity and mortality of bronchial asthma are increasing year by year. Therefore,we should pay more attention to the diagnosis and treatment of bronchial asthma.Smoking,as an important factor of respiratory diseases,is also common in adult patients with asthma. At present,it is generally believed that the severity of asthma is affected by the amount of smoking[19].compared with non smoking patients,it is more difficult to control smokers'asthma symptoms, and the incidence rate and mortality rate increased significantly[20,21].Smoking is an important risk factor for chronic airway inflammation. It has been reported that smoking can reduce the measurement of FeNO in asthmatic patients[22],but some studies have also shown that smoking has no significant effect on the measurement of FeNO in asthmatic patients[1].Therefore,it is of great significance to explore whether smoking has an impact on the FeNO value measured by the asthmatic population in order to evaluate the condition of asthmatic patients who smoke. Methods:the patients with asthma who were hospitalized in the respiratory department of Shengjing Hospital from January 2016 to September 2019were collected as the study objects.According to whether smoking or not and whether combined with infection, the levels of FeNO,NLR,total IgE and eosinophils among the groups were compared, and the correlation of each index within each group was also analyzed.Results:?1?FeNO level:in the measurement of FeNO value in asthmatic patients,it was found that non-smoking patients, combined with infection, had low FeNO measurement. There was no significant difference in the measurement of FeNO value in smoking patients, and smoking had no effect on the measurement of FeNO?2?NLR level:in the measurement of NLR value of asthmatic patients,it was found that the NLR value of asthmatic patients without smoking history was higher than that of non infected patients under the condition of infection, and smoking had no effect on the measurement of NLR value of asthmatic patients.?3?Leukocyte level:for patients with asthma who have a history of smoking, the leukocyte level of patients with infection is higher than that of patients without infection. For patients with infection, the leukocyte level of patients with asthma who have a history of smoking is higher than that of patients without a history of smoking.?4?Eosinophil level:there was no statistical significance in the measurement of eosinophils, smoking and infection in asthmatic patients?5?Serum total IgE level:there was no significant difference in the measurement of total IgE,smoking and infection in asthmatic patients.?6?Correlation analysis:for the correlation between FeNO and NLR in asthmatic patients, there was a positive correlation when infection combined with smoking history, and for the measurement of FeNO and eosinophils in asthmatic patients, there was a positive correlation. Conclusion:the presence of infection alone can make the measurement value of FeNO lower. In clinical diagnosis, for patients with asthma attack complicated with infection,we can refer to evaluate the condition.Although smoking is an important factor in chronic airway inflammation,it has no effect on the assessment of patients with asthma by FeNO measurement. There is a positive correlation between Fe NO and eosinophils.
