Objective: The mental health of women with infertility patients is a major concern of the public health worldwide. However, few studies have been conducted to research quality of life of women with infertility. Therefore, our study mainly discusses the status of quality of life in female infertility patients, studies the influencing factors of quality of life in female infertility patients, and evaluates the mediating role of self-efficacy and resilience in the relationship between fertility-related stress and quality of life. Methods: In this study, female patients diagnosed with infertility in the reproductive center of Shenyang Maternal and Infant Hospital were selected by convenience sampling during 2017 to 2018.This paper included the general condition, quality of life, perceive stress with infertility,self-efficacy,and resilience, which were measured by the quality of life(FertiQol),fertility-related stress(FPI),self-efficacy(GSES)and resilience(CD-RISC).560 questionnaires were collected,548 questionnaires were effectively recovered, and the effective recovery rate was 97.8%.One-way variance analysis and t-test were used to compare the quality of life of infertility patients with different demographic characteristics.Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between quality of life and influencing factors in female infertility patients.Stratified regression analysis was used to determine the influencing factors of quality of life in female infertility patients and the intensity of their effects. The mediating effects of self-efficacy and resilience on fertility-related stress and quality of life in female infertility patients were preliminarily tested. The mediating effect of self-efficacy and resilience was tested by using the PROCESS macro command proposed by Hayes. Results: The average score of quality of life in female infertility patients was 79.55±16.78,fertility-related stress was 142.50 ± 28.42,self-efficacy was 25.10 ± 6.23,and resilience was 56.99 ± 14.87.Educational level and cause of infertility are the influencing factors of quality of life of female infertility patients;educational level and income are the influencing factors of fertility-related stress of female infertility patients;age, residence, income, and the history of pregnancy are the influencing factors of self-efficacy of female infertility patients;age, educational level, and residence are the influencing factors of resilience of female infertility patients.Fertility-related stress was related with quality of life of female infertility patients(?=-0.483,P<0.001).Self-efficacy and resilience play a partial mediating role in the relationship between fertility-related stress and quality of life of female infertility patients. Conclusions: Quality of life of female infertility patients has not improved compared to the past.Fertility-related stress,self-efficacy and resilience are important influencing factors of quality of life in female infertility patients.Fertility-related stress can directly predict quality of life in female infertility patients.Fertility-related stress is a negative factor for quality of life.At the same time,self-efficacy and resilience play a mediating role in the relationship between fertility-related stress and quality of life in female infertility patients. Therefore, for medical staff,we should pay attention to the mental health of female infertility patients, and solve psychological diseases as well as physical diseases. For family members and friends, support is the most desirable of patients,so we need to care about and understand patients, and ultimately achieve the goal of improving mental health.
