Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Dementia Due To Deficiency Of Qi And Blood With Plus Acupuncture Back Shu Points Of Five Viscera

Objective:Observing the clinical effect of the treatment of dementia due to deficiency of qi and blood with plus acupuncture back shu points of five viscera,and providing a feasible and effective treatment for clinical treatment.Methods:Sixty patients of dementia due to deficiency of qi and blood meeting the inclusion criteria were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to a random number table,with thirty cases in each group.The control group was treated with traditional acupuncture,and the treatment group was treated with traditional acupuncture plus acupuncture back shu points of five viscera.Both groups were treated once a day,with continuous treatment for six days per week,one day of rest,one week as a course of treatment,and continuous treatment for four weeks.Observe the scores of mini mental state examination(MMSE),activity of daily living scale(ADL),and syndrome differentiation scale of dementia(SDSD)of the two groups of patients before and after treatment,and compare the total effective rates of the two groups of patients.Results:1.The MMSE scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were improved compared with before treatment,and the scores of the treatment group increased more significantly than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.The ADL scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were lower than that before treatment,and the scores of the treatment group decreased more significantly than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The SDSD scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were lower than before treatment,and the scores of the treatment group decreasedmore significantly than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 83.33%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 70.00%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Plus acupuncture back shu points of five viscera is effective in treating dementia due to deficiency of qi and blood.2.The treatment of dementia due to deficiency of qi and blood with plus acupuncture back shu points of five viscera can improve patients' cognitive function and living ability,and is better than traditional acupuncture.3.The treatment of dementia due to deficiency of qi and blood with plus acupuncture back shu points of five viscera can improve the TCM syndromes of patients,and is better than traditional acupuncture.
