Objective:To observe the effects of Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with moxibustion on TCM syndrome, the hamilton depression scale(HAMD-24),center for epidemiological studies depression scale(CES-D),and the MOS items short from health survey(SF-36)in subthreshold depression patients with liver depression spleen deficiency type.To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with moxibustion in the treatment of subthreshold depression patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency and its improvement in quality of lifeMethods:The subjects were selected from May 2019 to January 2020 in the acupuncture clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine.Patients who met the inclusion criteria were included in the study after informed consent.Random number tables were used to randomly divide 60 patients. The enrolled patients were divided into two groups, acupuncture and moxibustion, with 30 people in each group. The acupuncture group used the Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combination with moxibustion.Acupuncture was performed at the main points of Baihui(DU20),Shenting(DU24)and matched the points of Hegu double(LI14),and Taichong double(LR3),Ganshu double(BL18)and Pishu double(BL20)according to the characteristics of patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency, the needle was retained in acupoint place for 20 minutes with De qi,and acupuncture was performed 3 times a week for 4 weeks. After the acupuncture treatment, the moxibustion was used to select acupuncture points Baihui(DU20),Zusanli double(ST36),Ganshu double(BL18),and Pishu double(BL20)20min each time. The moxibustion group took the same points as the acupuncture group,20 minutes each time,3 times a week for 4 weeks. Before and after treatment, patients were evaluated for TCM syndromes, the Hamilton depression scale(HAMD-24),center for epidemiological studies depression scale(CES-D),and the MOS items short from health survey(SF-36).SPSS22.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis of the collected dataResult:1.Comparability analysis of baseline data:60 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were comparable in the baseline data of gender and age(P>0.05).2.Total effective rate:After intervention, the total effective rate of the acupuncture group was 93.33%,and the moxibustion group was 83.33%.The acupuncture group was better than the moxibustion group, and the difference in total effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of H AMD-24 scale scores:Before the intervention, there scores of the HAMD-24 scales were comparable between the two groups of subjects(P>0.05).The HAMD-24 scale scores were compared before intervention and after 4 weeks of intervention, and the differences in the self group before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05,P<0.05).Comparing the two groups, the score of the acupuncture group was lower than that of the moxibustion group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.4.Comparison of TCM symptom scores:Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in TCM symptom scores between the two groups of subjects(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in TCM symptom scores between the groups before and 4 weeks after the intervention(P<0.05,P<0.05).After the intervention, the TCM symptom score of the acupuncture group was lower than that of the moxibustion group, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).5.Comparison of CES-D scale scores:Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in the CES-D scale scores between the two groups of subjects(P>0.05).Comparison of the CES-D scale scores in the acupuncture group and the moxibustion group before and after 4 weeks of intervention in the CES-D scale were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the score of CES-D scales in the acupuncture group was lower than the moxibustion group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)6.SF-36 scale score comparison:Before the intervention, there scores of the SF-36 scales were comparable between the two groups of subjects(P>0.05)Comparison of SF-36 scale scores before intervention and 4 weeks after intervention within the group, there was a statistically significant difference in SF-36 scale scores between acupuncture group and moxibustion group(P<0.05),all factor levels in both groups were above baseline levels After the intervention, the score of the SF-36 scale in the acupuncture group was higher than that in the moxibustion group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)Conclusion:1.Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with moxibustion can improve the depressive symptoms and quality of life in patients with subthreshold depression of liver spleen and spleen deficiency, and the clinical effect is significant2.Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with moxibustion is better than simple moxibustion in the treatment of subthreshold depression patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency.
