| Objective: To detect the changes of serum neuroglobin(Ngb)level in patients with post-stroke cognitive impairment(PSCI),and to explore whether the change of serum neuroglobin level is one of the mechanisms of Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture in the treatment of cognitive impairment after ischemic stroke,so as to provide a more reliable basis for the future application of Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture in the treatment of PSCI patients.Method: Sixty PSCI patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected from the outpatient and inpatient departments of the three departments of encephalopathy in Anhui Acupuncture and Moxibustion Hospital.They were divided into observation group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)according to the principle of random distribution.Two groups of patients were given routine western medicine treatment,such as symptomatic supportive treatment of controlling blood sugar,blood pressure,blood lipid and blood homocysteine level,and corresponding rehabilitation treatment.The time and intensity of each rehabilitation treatment were based on the patient’s tolerance.On this basis,the control group took Butylphthalide Soft Capsules orally,0.2g/time,three times a day,fasting oral,20 days as a course of treatment,a total of two courses of treatment;the observation group added Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture on the basis of the control group,the main points: Fengfu,Baihui,Shenting,Yintang,Shuigou,once a day,20 days as a course of treatment,a total of two courses of treatment.Before and 40 days after the treatment,the patients were scored by the corresponding scale and the indicators were tested.The indicators were serum brain globin(Ngb);the evaluation scale included Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA),Simple Mental State Examination Scale(MMSE),Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL).After two consecutive courses of treatment,the data of the same group were compared before and after treatment,and then the data between the two groups were compared and analyzed.Finally,the data changes between the two groups were observed,and the final results were analyzed and the conclusions were drawn.Result:(1)Detection of serum Ngb level Comprehensive analysis of relevant data and information before and after treatment found that: the observation group and control group before and after treatment,the level of serum Ngb increased(p < 0.01),the difference was statistically significant,and the observation group serum Ngb level increased more significantly than the control group(p < 0.05),the difference was more prominent,with statistical significance.(2)Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale Marking the score of MoCA scale in two groups showed that the score after treatment was higher than that before treatment(p < 0.01).The difference was statistically significant,and the score of MoCA scale in observation group increased more significantly(p < 0.05).(3)Simple Intelligent Mental State Examination Scale The MMSE scores of the two groups were evaluated respectively.The results showed that the scores after treatment were improved compared with those before treatment(p < 0.01).The difference was statistically significant,but the scores of the observation group were improved more significantly than those of the control group(p < 0.05),with statistical significance.(4)Activity of Daily Living Scale The ADL scale scores of the two groups were registered.The results showed that the scores of the two groups after treatment were higher than the precondition(p < 0.01).The difference had statistical significance,but the improvement of the scale scores of the control group was not as obvious as that of the observation group(p < 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.(5)Comparing the clinical effect of the two groups after treatment: the clinical effect of the observation group is more obvious,and the total effective rate is higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05),the difference is significant.Conclusion:(1)Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture can effectively increase the level of serum Ngb in patients with PSCI,and then improve the clinical symptoms of patients.Compared with conventional western medicine treatment alone,the effect is better.(2)Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture combined with routine western medicine treatment can improve the scores of MoCA,MMSE and ADL scales of PSCI patients more effectively.Compared with routine western medicine treatment alone,the improvement of clinical symptoms is more significant.(3)Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture combined with conventional western medicine treatment can improve the cognitive impairment and other related symptoms of patients better than conventional western medicine treatment alone.Its mechanism may be related to the effect of Dudu Tiaoshen Acupuncture on improving serum neuroglobin level in PSCI patients. |
