ObjectiveObserve the clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine hot compress for biceps tendon sheath inflammation, explore clinically feasible methods for biceps tendon sheath inflammation, and provide scientific basis for clinical standardized treatment.MethodA total of 60 patients with long head tenosynovitis of the biceps brachii who were admitted to the Department of Orthopedics in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2019 were selected.According to the randomized controlled trial, the samples were randomly divided into 2 groups, the observation group and the control group.30 cases each.Lost follow-up cases are counted as invalid. The patients in the observation group were treated with acupuncture on the affected side for 20 minutes, and then treated with hot herbal compress on the affected area 5 hours later, once a day and 7 days as a course of treatment. The patients in the control group were treated with acupuncture on the affected side for 20 minutes, and then treated with hot herbal compress on the affected area 5 hours later, once a day,7 days as a course of treatment. The 2 courses are separated by 1 day.The degree of shoulder pain of the subjects was observed and evaluated before the treatment course, the intermittent period at the end of the first treatment course and 5±2 days after the end of the second treatment course. The evaluation results of 5±2 days after the end of the second treatment course were used as the evaluation basis of the main evaluation indicators. The efficacy of the subjects was evaluated according to the clinical symptom improvement, shoulder joint Constant score, and 3 months of follow-up after treatment.ResultClinical symptom improvement:The clinical improvement of the observation group was(8 2.16±4.32)%and the total effective rate was 68.5%.The clinical improvement of the control group was(77.00 ±4.70)%and the total effective rate was 36.2%.Combined.Significant effect, effective, and remission are effective. The total effective rate of the observation group and the control group is 100%.The clinical improvement of the two groups of patients is statistically analyzed,P<0.05,the difference is statistically significant, indicating that there are two treatment options in this trial. The merit of the observation group is better than that of the control group in improving the clinical symptoms of biceps tendon sheath inflammation2.Shoulder Constant Score:Before the start of treatment, the two groups were compared with the Constant Constant Shoulder Score and Visual Analogue Score(VAS).According to statistical analysis, there was no difference between the two groups, both P>0 05,can be compared with each other. After treatment, the two groups of subjects compared the degree of shoulder joint function recovery according to the Constant Score of the shoulders again. The difference was statistically significant. The treatment method applied in the control group3.Recurrence rate:The two groups of patients were followed up at the 3rd month of the visit. The recurrence rate of the observation group at the end of the 3 months after treatment was 3.2%,and the control group was 13.3%.The recurrence rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group. This shows that in the long-term effect, the treatment method of the observation group is better than the treatment groupConclusionWarm acupuncture and simple acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine hot compresses can effectively treat biceps brachial tendon sheath inflammation, but the method of warm acupuncture is better than the application in improving the clinical symptoms of biceps brachial tendon sheath inflammation and restoring shoulder function. With acupuncture alone, the recurrence rate was significantly lower than that in the control group. The method of warm acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine hot compress has clear clinical effects,is safe, and lasts longer than simple acupuncture. It is of great significance for clinically improving the quality of life of patients with biceps brachialis tenosynovitis and preventing its recurrence.
