Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Yangxin Decoction on stable angina pectoris(Qi deficiency and blood stasis),and to explore its effect on Red blood cell distribution width(RDW)and Platelet distribution width(PDW)Methods:In this study,70 patients with stable angina pectoris(Qi deficiency and blood stasis)who met the inclusion criteria and were treated in the outpatient department of the first affiliated hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected. Then they were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 35 cases in each group. On the basis of western medicine treatment, the treatment group was supplemented with the modified Yangxin Decoction, while the control group was treated with western medicine only. Both groups were treated for 8 weeks. The indicators of patients were recorded before and after therapy, including the efficacy indexes and the security indexes, then evaluate the efficacy and analyze the safetyResults:1.TCM syndrome scores:By comparing each single score and total scores, all the scores after treatment were lower than before treatment.By comparing the scores after treatment, all the scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)2.TCM syndrome effect:The total effective rate and marked effective rate were 91.18%and 32.35%in the treatment group, compared with 52.94%and 5.88%in the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)3.Efficacy of angina pectoris:The total effective rate and marked effective rate were 79.41%and 20.59%in the treatment group, compared with 61.76%and 5.88%in the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)4.Withdrawal rate of nitroglycerin:The total reduction rate and withdrawal rate were 91.18%and 35.29%in the treatment group, compared with 73.53%and 14.71%in the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)5.Electrocardiogram efficacy:The total effective rate and marked effective rate were 61.76%and 14.71%in the treatment group, compared with 44.12%and 8.82%in the control group. The differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05)6.Levels of RDW and PDW:By comparing in the group, the levels after treatment of both groups were lower than before treatment.By comparing the levels after treatment, the levels of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The modified Yangxin Decoction can improve the TCM syndromes, and improve the angina symptoms, and reduce the dosages of nitroglycerin in patients with stable angina pectoris(Qi deficiency and blood stasis)2.The modified Yangxin Decoction can reduce the levels of RDW and PDW in patients with stable angina pectoris(Qi deficiency and blood stasis),possibly by inhibiting the inflammatory response and oxidative stress reaction.
