In the 21 st century,China has entered an irreversible aging society,and population aging has become a major national condition in China's economic and social development.In recent years,under the background of the increasingly severe aging population,China's inflation has continued,the economic growth rate has slowed down,causing prices to continue to rise,and the continued inflation will directly affect the consumption power of residents.This article takes urban and rural residents' health care consumption as the research object,uses Eviews econometrics software,adopts econometric analysis,comparative analysis and other research methods to study whether inflation will affect the health care consumption of urban and rural residents in China and inflation for urban and rural residents Whether there is a difference in the impact.Through a comparative analysis of urban and rural areas,we will study how to effectively reduce the negative impact of inflation on residents' health care consumption,and put forward reasonable policy recommendations for improving the health care consumption level of our residents.First of all,this paper summarizes the research background and significance,the current research status at home and abroad,and the research content,and expounds the relevant concepts and basic theories of this research.Secondly,this article introduces the current situation of China's population aging,inflation and health care consumption.It also analyzes the impact of population aging on residents' health care consumption,and analyzes the current situation of urban and rural inflation in China from the perspective of urban-rural differences.And the current situation of urban and rural residents' health care consumption.Thirdly,this paper selects the statistical data of 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government)from 1999 to 2018 in China,and uses the VAR model to conduct empirical analysis on urban and rural areas respectively,to study whether inflation will affect the health care consumption of urban and rural residents in China.Are there any differences in the impact of rural residents' health care consumption?Finally,based on the above status quo analysis and empirical analysis,combined with the qualitative and quantitative analysis results of inflation on residents' health care consumption,it is found that compared with urban areas,inflation has a significant negative impact on the health care consumption of rural residents in China.And there are targeted and reasonable policy recommendations to improve the level of health care consumption of our residents,to better meet the needs of residents' health care consumption.
