As a basic human right, health is one of the important goals that people pursue in the new century. Under the background of the increasing pace of aging in our country, how to solve the health problems of the aged population is a big problem in front of us. According to a survey by the central office of rural work, the population of rural area takes up a majority of the total population, the aging population and the proportion of raising the elderly population is higher than the city. Under the trend of China’s reform and opening up and economic transformation, the traditional medical security system characterized by the planned economic system has gradually collapsed, and the medical and health service system in rural areas has been weakened. The Economic and medical level of the rural area is relatively backward, so that the ability of dealing with the rural population aging has become increasingly inadequate, and the health of those aging population living in rural is difficult to be guaranteed. In many of the factors that affect the health of aging population in rural areas, medical services run through the people’s birth and death, and plays a vital role in disease prevention and treatment, health care,so it is closely related with people’s life, it is very worth of us to study. Firstly, this paper reviews the relevant literature, and analyzes the current situation, problems and health status of rural elderly population in China, and then analyzes the influence of medical service accessibility on the health status of rural aged people by Logit regression model. Based on this result, the paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: strengthening the construction of rural medical service network coverage, planning the new rural primary health service network scientifically, increasing the level of rural urbanization and new rural construction, increasing the development of private hospitals, and provide a strong impetus for the development of rural aging population.
