Objective:To investigate the relationship between 3-nitrotyrosine(3-NT)levels in serum and morbidity of cognitive impairment in cerebral small vessel disease patients(CSVD).Method:55 patients of CSVD,which is divided into 29 cases with cognitive impairment group(CI-CSVD),group of 26 patients none cognitive impairment group(NCI-CSVD)according to MoCA,and 51 physical examinees taken as health controls(HC).ELISA method to detect 3-NT levels in serum,T-test was used to analyze the differences in serum 3-NT between the CSVD group and the HC control group, further analysis of the differences between the CI-CSVD group and the NCI-CSVD group.Logistic regression analysis was performed to predict the risk factors of CSVD.Partial correlation analysis was performed to explore the relationship between 3-NT in serum and MoCA scores and each item scores in MoCA.Results:1 The 3-NT in CSVD group were significantly higher than that in control group(P=0.001,P<0.01).(2)The 3-NT in the CI-CSVD group were significantly higher than that in the NCI-CSVD group(P=0.021,P<0.05).(3)Logistic regression analysis shows LDL,UA and 3-NT are risk factors of CSVD.(4)The 3-NT in the CSVD groups is negatively correlated with MoCA scores, space visibility and executive functionality, attention and calculating performance, abstraction strength, subitem of the delayed memory(r=-0.327,r=-0.312,r=-0.332,r=-0.267,r=-0.301)(P=0.013,P=0.011,P=0.011,P=0.023,P=0.034,P<0.05).Conclusions:CSVD had higher serum 3-NT,with cognitive impairment had higher serum 3-NT.Serum 3-NT is closely related to CSVD and its cognitive impairment.Serum LDL and UA may be related risk factors for CSVD.
