Objective:To study the relationship between the ischiofemoral impingement syndrome(IFI)and the measurement parameters related to the anatomy of the femoral side, and further explore its pathogenesis to provide a basis for clinical treatment.Materials and methods:A retrospective analysis of 65 patients with IFI diagnosed by CTA and CTV examination of both lower extremities was included in the case group, and 81 patients excluded IFI diagnosis were used as the control group.Ischiofemoral space(IFS),quadratus femoris space(QFS),the height and the area of femoral lesser trochanter, lesser trochanter version(LTV),femoral neck version(FNV),cervicodiaphyseal angle(CCD),the length of femoral neck axis(FNAL),the femoral offset(OF),and femur length were measured, and their correlations were analyzed. Results:IFS,QFS,the height and the area of femoral lesser trochanter,FNV,FNAL,FO,and femoral length in case group were(11.6 ? 4.0)mm 、(6.2 ? 2.7)mm 、(23.7 ? 3.3)mm 、(484.4 ? 115.8)mm2 、(15.8 ? 9.2)° 、(74.8?9.5)mm、(27.9?4.9)mm、(424.0?25.8)mm,while these measurements were(25.9?7.4)mm、(18.5?6.1)mm、(22.4?3.6)mm、(440.5?103.0)mm2、(10.5?10.1)°、(87.9?8.5)mm、(33.3?5.5)mm、(434.8?27.3)mm in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).The CCD and LTV of the control group were(130.7 ? 5.6)° 、(-29.8 ? 12.5)°,while these measurements were(131.8?5.4)°、(-30.0?12.0)°in case group, the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the case group,FNAL,the height and the area of femoral lesser trochanter were larger than those of the women, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In thecontrol group,IFS,FNAL,the height and the area of femoral lesser trochanter,LTV,and CCD were all larger than women, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in FNV and FO between men and women.Compared with the control group, the IFS,FNAL,the area of femoral lesser trochanter,FNV and FO of the male case group were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the IFS,FNAL,the height and the area of femoral lesser trochanter,CCD,FNV and FO of the female case group were significantly different from the control group(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that FNV,LTV,the height of femoral lesser trochanter,FNAL,and age were the influencing factors of IFI(P<0.05).Conclusion:The anatomy of the femur had a significant effect on the occurrence of IFI.
