| Objection:In comparison with Bismuth,evaluating the eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)by the substitution of bismuth pectin with the Modified Xianglian Wan(XLW).Method: We collected 74 patients in our outpatient clinic,consisting of 60 cases of chronic gastritis,10 cases of duodenal ulcer and 4 cases of gastric ulcer were diagnosed by endoscope,all of them were confirmed with Hp infection by 13 C or 14 C urea breath test.None of the selected patients was treated with Hp eradication,and all 74 patients were randomly divided into group A(XLW-EAC)(n = 37)treated with Modified Xianglian Wan,Esomeprazole Amoxicillin and clarithromycin,and group B(BEAC)(n = 37)with Bismuth potassium citrate,Esomeprazole,Amoxicillin,and Clarithromycin.Dose :Esomeprazole 20 mg per time,Amoxicillin 1.0g per time,Clarithromycin 0.5g per time,Bismuth 0.6g per time.Traditional Chinese medicine(XLW)a portion per time,all twice a day for 14 days.After the treatmnent of one mouth,we reexaminate 13 C or 14 C urea breath test.Comparing the pathogen eradication rate and symptoms improvement between the two differentgroups.Result: The eradication rate of Hp was respectively 91.9%(group A)and 81.1%(group B),and there was no significant difference in eradication rate between the two groups(p >0.05).The improvement rate of symptoms in group A was significantly better than that in group B(83.97% vs 63.17%),and there was statistical significance(p<0.05).The adverse reaction symptoms of the two groups were mild and tolerable.No serious adverse reactions were occured in both groups.Conclusion:XLW combined with standard triple therapy(group A)and standard eradication,with a distinct improvement of clinical symptoms.It is a more ideal scheme to eradicateHp,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion. |
