| Objective:Guided by the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,this study investigated the clinical efficacy of guben tongluo formula in preventing and treating neurotoxicity caused by oxaliplatin chemotherapy after colorectal cancer surgeryMethod:Seventy postoperative patients with colorectal cancer who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the control group and the control group.Both groups received CapeOX chemotherapy,the control group received guben tongluo formula orally,and the control group received mecobalamin tablets orally.One treatment cycle lasted for 21 days,and six consecutive cycles were observed.The levi-specific neurotoxicity grading standard was used to compare the incidence and toxicity grade of neurotoxicity of oxaliplatin after 2,4 and 6 cycles,as well as the TCM syndrome score,KPS score and safety index before and after treatmentResults:1.Comparison of the incidence of neurotoxicity between the two groups:there was no statistical difference in the incidence of neurotoxicity between the two groups after the second cycle(P>0.05).After the 4th cycle,the incidence of neurotoxicity was 31.43%in the treatment group and 57.14%in the control group.The incidence of neurotoxicity in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the 6th cycle,the incidence of neurotoxicity was 54.29%in the treatment group and 77.14%in the control group.The incidence of neurotoxicity in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)2.Comparison of KPS scores between the two groups:both groups showed improvement after treatment,and the improvement degree of the control group was higher than that of the control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05)3.Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups:the total effective rate was 88.57%in the prevention and treatment group and 68.57%in the control group.The curative effect of the prevention and treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)4.Comparison of post-treatment safety indicators between the two groups:the reduction of white blood cells,platelets and hemoglobin in the treatment group was significantly lighter than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the incidence of gastrointestinal reactions in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).In terms of liver and kidney function,the difference between the prevention and treatment group and the control group after treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05)Conclusion:1.Guben tongluo formula can significantly reduce the occurrence of oxaliplatin neurotoxicity.Compared with the control group,the incidence of neurotoxicity is significantly reduced and the prevention and treatment effect is obvious.2.Guben tongluo formula can improve patients' quality of life,reduce the occurrence of toxic and side effects of chemotherapy,and can reduce toxicity and increase efficacy3.With the extension of chemotherapy cycle,neurotoxicity gradually increased,which confirmed the cumulative effect of neurotoxicity. |
