To Explore The Clinical Value Of Acupoint Catgut Embedding Combined With Health Management Intervention For PCOS In Adolescence

Objective: The research is guided by “Belt vessel stagnation of phlegm-stasis”,Explore the causes,mechanisms,syndromes and treatment of PCOS in adolescence;Observe the clinical effect of acupoint catgut embedding combined with health management on early intervention of adolescent PCOS patients,Solve practical clinical problems,Open up a new perspective on the prevention and treatment of the disease.Methods: In this study,33 cases of PCOS patients who met puberty were collected and given acupoint catgut embedding therapy,together with comprehensive intervention methods for their health management.One month is a course of treatment,and a total of 3 courses are observed.The TCM symptom score,body mass index(BMI),abdominal circumference,luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),testosterone(T),fasting blood glucose(FPG),fasting insulin(FINS),change of the number of follicles under ultrasound were observed before and after treatment.Evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of this method.Results:(1)The total effective rate of clinical efficacy is 83.3%.The total effective rate of obesity is 86.7%.(2)TCM syndrome points: After treatment,the score of TCM syndromes decreased significantly,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Sex hormone levels,number of follicles under ultrasound: After treatment,LH and T decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of follicles decreased compared with before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant change in FSH after treatment,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(4)Metabolic indicators: After treatment,FINS decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).However,the FPG ofpatients did not change significantly after treatment,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(5)Clinical studies have shown that the effective rate of acupoint catgut embedding combined with health management to improve clinical signs of adolescent PCOS patients was 83.3%;it is suggested that this method can effectively cut off the transmission of the disease during the window period of PCOS onset and prevent long-term complications Disease,embodying the theory of "preventing disease first" in traditional Chinese medicine.Conclusion: Under the guidance of the theory of “Belt vessel stagnation of phlegm-stasis”,comprehensive intervention methods of acupoint catgut embedding and health management for adolescent PCOS patients can effectively improve clinical signs,effectively prevent the progression of the disease,and solve clinical practical problems.
