Clinical Observation On Warming Needling Qiao Vessel And Confluence Points Of The Eight Vessels Crossing Point For Treatment Of Dementia Due To Deficiency Of Kidney Essence

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of applying Needle warming moxibustion on Qiao Vessel and confluence points of the eight vessels crossing point on Kidney-deficiency dementia;and to provide a new method with definite accurate effect for the treatment of clinical dementia.Method:Using random number table method,60 patients who volunteered to participate in this study were divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 people each.In the treatment group,Shenmai(BL62)(bilateral)and Zhaohai(KI6)(bilateral)were selected for Needle warming moxibustion therapy combined with traditional acupuncture;the control group went through the traditional acupuncture.Needle 1 time a day,6 days a week,1 day off,4 weeks of continuous treatment.Mini Mental State(MMSE),Activities of Daily Living(ADL),and Syndrome Differentiation Scale for Dementia(SDSD)scales were used as posttreatment observation indicators of comparative curative effect.The data were statistically analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 22.Results:1.In the MMSE scale score,the scores of the two groups after treatment were higher than before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In the ADL scale scores,the scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.In the SDSD scale scores,the scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 76.66%,while the total effective rate of the control group was 53.33%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Needle warming moxibustion on Qiao Vessel and confluence points of the eight vessels crossing point is effective in treating Kidney-deficiency dementia.2.Needle warming moxibustion on Qiao Vesseland confluence points of the eight vessels crossing point performs better than traditional acupuncture in improving self-care ability of patients of Kidney-deficiency dementia.3.Needle warming moxibustion on Qiao Vessel and confluence points of the eight vessels crossing point is more effective than traditional acupuncture in improving TCM symptoms of Kidney-deficiency dementia.
