Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Vascular Dementia With Kidney Deficiency By Scalp Penetration Combined With Needle Warming Moxibustion

Objective:To observe relative evaluation scales and the clinical efficiency of scalp point-through-point acupuncture combined with needle warming moxibustion in treating vascular dementia with kidney deficiency,which to provide a effective therapeutic way to vascular dementia with kidney deficiency.Method:According to the method of randomization,60 patients with kidney deficiency VD were randomly divided into observation group(The scalp point penetration +needle warming moxibustion)and control group(The scalp acupuncture + body acupuncture),30 cases per group.Both two groups were treated once a day,6 times a week,3 weeks as a course,2 courses at most.Evaluation scales were MMSE(mini mental status examination),CDT(Clock Drawing Test),ADL(Activities of Daily Living Scale)and SDSVD(TCM syndromes of vascular dementia score).Result:1.The total effective rate after treatment was statistically significant between two groups(P<0.05).It shows that the treatment effect of The scalp point penetration combined with needle warming moxibustion is better than that of acupuncture alone.2.The mini mental status examination(MMSE)was significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.05).So as the Clock Drawing Test(CDT).It shows that both two groups can improve patients,cognitive abilities,and the treatment effect of observation group is better than that of control group.3.There was a difference between two groups in daily living ability scale(ADL)before and after treatment(P<0.05).And observation group has a statistical difference compared with control group after treatment(P<0.05).It is indicated that both the observation group and the control group can improve the daily living ability of patients with vascular dementia and deficiency of kidney essence,and The therapeutic effect of the observation group is better than that of the control.4.Scores of SDSVD of both groups were decreased after treatment.Thecomparison before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was significant difference between two groups after treatment(P<0.05).It shows that both groups can effectively decrease the TCM syndromes of kidney essence deficiency,which can replenish vital essence,and the observation group is better than the control group.Conclusion:1.The scalp point penetration combined with needle warming moxibustion can improve patients,cognitive abilities and activities of daily living,and decrease the TCM syndromes of kidney essence deficiency.2.The scalp point penetration combined with needle warming moxibustion better than control group aiming to patients with vascular dementia and deficiency of kidney essence.
