Observation On Clinical Curative Effect Of Puncturing Wuxin Acupuncture On Post-stroke Depression

Objective:To observe the therapeutic efficacy of fire needle point acupuncture at Wuxin acupoints combined with milli-needle acupuncture and single conventional milli-needle acupuncture in the treatment of post-stroke depression with hepatic qi stagnation type.The results were analyzed and summarized in order to provide new ideas for the treatment of post-stroke depression.Methods:According to the random number table method,60 patients with post-stroke depression who met the inclusion criteria were divided into a control group and a treatment group,30 persons in each group.Both groups of patients received conventional treatment for cerebrovascular disease.The control group was given acupuncture treatment with milli-needle.The selected acupoints were Baihui,Yintang,Shenmen,Neiguan,Taichong,Danzhong,and Qimen,once a day,a total of six days of treatment per week,one day of rest per week,one week as a course of treatment.The treatment group added fire needle therapy on the basis of the control group,and the fire acupuncture point was selected as Wuxin point(bilateral Yongquan,bilateral Laogong and Danzhong),once every other day,three times a week,and one week as a course of treatment.All patients were treated continuously for two weeks,by observing the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Depression Self-rating Scale(SDS),Modified Edinburgh-Scandinavia Neurological Impairment Scale(MESSS)before and after treatment in two groups of patients,the results were compared and analyzed,and the curative effect was evaluated with the reduction rate of the HAMD scale as the evaluation standard.Results:1.Comparison of general data before treatment: There was no significant difference in age,sex,course,HAMD,SDS,and MESSS scalescores between the two groups of patients,P> 0.05,which was comparable.2.Comparison of HAMD,SDS,and MESSS scale scores after treatment:Comparison between groups,the HAMD,SDS,and MESSS scale scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment,P <0.01;within the group,the scores of the two groups were significantly different,P <0.05.3.Comparison of clinical efficacy: After treatment,the total effective rate of the fire acupuncture group was 86.7%,and the total effective rate of the milli-needle acupuncture group was 80%.After statistical analysis,the difference between the two groups of patients was significant,P <0.05.Conclusion:1.The combination of fire acupuncture at Wuxin acupoint combined with milli-needle acupuncture therapy and single conventional milli-needle acupuncture therapy can effectively improve the degree of depression in patients with post-stroke depression(hepatic qi stagnation type).2.The therapeutic effect of fire acupuncture at Wuxin acupoint combined with milli-needle acupuncture on the treatment of depression after stroke(hepatic qi stagnation type)is better than that of simple milli-needle acupuncture.
