A Clinical Study Of Yinchen Xiaodan Enema On Breast-feeding Jaundice(Damp-heat Retention Pattern)

Objective: The purpose of this article is to verify the efficiency and safty of Yinchen Xiaodan decoction,which is by the means of the contrast between the therapy of Yinchen Xiaodan decoction and the therapy of Yinzhihuang oral liquid.Methods: A total of 74 patients with breast-feeding jaundice were collected from the outpatient department of our hospital.Experimental group(39 cases)was treated with Yinchenxiaodan Decoction by enema and control group(35 cases)was treated with Yinzhihuang oral liquid by mouth.The period of treatment is 2 weeks.Results: At the end of the treatment,36 patients in the experimental group and 24 patients in the control group met the requirements and achieved the re-set targets.(1)Total efficacy analysis: The total effective rate of the two groups were compared.The total effective rate of the experimental group and the control group were 100% both.The total apparent efficiency of the experimental group was 77.8% and that of the control group was 79.2%,and the difference between them was not statistically significant(P> 0.05),indicating that the overall efficacy of the experimental group was similar to that of the control group.(2)Intrablock comparison after treatment: The difference in TCM symptom score during the experiment and the differernce of bilirubin level during the experiment were statistically significant(P < 0.05)in both two groups,indicating that the drugs in the two groups were effective in relieving the clinical symptoms of breast-feeding jaundice.(3)Comparison between groups after treatment: There was no statistically significant differences in the change of TCM symptoms between the two groups after the treatment(P> 0.05),indicating that the experimental group had similar efficacy with the control group after the treatment.There was no statistically significant differences in the change of bilirubin level between the two groups after the experiment(P> 0.05),indicating the effect of decreasing bilirubin level in the experimental group is similar to that in the control group.The rate of untoward reactions was 12.8% in the experimental group and 68.6% in the control group,and the difference between them is statistically significant(P > 0.05).The untoward reactions in the experimental group were relatively less than those in the control group.Conclusion:1.The use of Yinchen Xiaodan Decoction can effectively relieve the TCM symptoms of pateints,and the experimental group has similar efficacy with the control group.2.Treatment of breast-feeding jaundice with Yinchen Xiaodan decoction can effectively reduce bilirubin level.3.The untoward reactions rate of Yinchen Xiaodan decoction group was lower than that of Yinzhihuang oral liquid group.
