Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Pediatric Stagnation(Spleen Deficiency With Stagnation)by Xingpi Xiaoji Massage Combined With Shenqu Xiaoshi Oral Liguid

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Xingpi Xiaoji Massage Combined with Shenqu Xiaoshi Oral Liquid on the pediatric stagnation(Spleen Deficiency with Stagnation Type)by a controlled clinical trial.Methods:80 children with stagnation(Spleen Deficiency with Stagnation Type)who see their doctor at the clinic of the XXX Hospital were singled out and separated into two groups at random,the therapeutic group and the control group.40 cases were assigned to each group.It was Shenqu Xiaoshi Oral Liquid that was given to all children in two groups.Furthermore,the therapeutic group was given a massage by Xingpi Xiaoji method separately.14 days was regarded as a treatment cycle.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptom scores were evaluated before and after the treatment according to the symptom quantification score sheet.SPSS17.0 software was chosen to be used to compile the data and to compare the scores of the individual symptoms and the total symptoms,and to contrast the clinical effects of the two groups.We did all that in order to attest the effectiveness of the Xingpi Xiaoji Massage Combined with Shenqu Xiaoshi Oral Liquid on the pediatric stagnation(Spleen Deficiency with Stagnation Type).Results:1.The overall response rate varied markedly in both groups,with92.11% in the therapeutic group and 76.92% in the control group(P <0.05).2.When the treatment was finished,the later TCM symptom scores which covered the main symptom grade,the secondary symptom grade,and the total grade,were lower than the former in both groups,and statistical meaning was assigned to the length of the gap(P <0.05).In addition,after the therapy,contrasting those scores of the two groups,the discrepancy was deemed to be statistically striking(P <0.05).3.After treatment,the scores in the individual syndromes,such as theloss of appetite,the abdominal distension,the nausea and vomiting,the sallow complexion,the lacking in strength,and the loose stool in both groups were lower than that before treatment,and the differences were significant(P <0.05).After the therapy,contrasting those scores of the two groups,the discrepancy was deemed to be statistically striking(P <0.05).4.In both groups,when comparing the scores of the emaciation we gained before and after treatment,we found the disparities were very small(P>0.05).And the difference between the two groups after the treatment was not significant(P> 0.05).Conclusion:1.The exact efficacy of Xingpi Xiaoji Massage Combined with Shenqu Xiaoshi Oral Liquid to pediatric stagnation(Spleen Deficiency with Stagnation Type)was recognized,better than oral Shengqu Xiaoshi Oral Liquid alone.2.The method of Xingpi Xiaoji Massage Combined with Shenqu Xiaoshi Oral Liquid could effectively improve the symptoms of children with stagnantion(Spleen Deficiency with Stagnation Type)which incloud the following respects: the loss of appetite,the abdominal distension,the nausea and vomiting,the sallow complexion,the lacking in strength,and the loose stool,better than drinking Shenqu Xiaoshi Oral Liquid alone.In the aspect of emaciation,the improvements of the two groups were not obvious,and there was no significant difference.3.There were no adverse reactions during the treatment of the pediatric stagnation(Spleen Deficiency with Stagnation Type)by Xingpi Xiaoji Massage Combined with Shenqu Xiaoshi Oral Liquid.
