Objective: To compare the effects of gravity fluid flow and active fluid flow on visual acuity recovery and visual quality in patients undergoing phacoemulsification. Methods:From June 2018 to June 2019,the Department of Ophthalmology, the Provincial Affiliated Hospital of An Hui Medical University,40 patients were randomly divided into study group(20 eyes)and control group(20 eyes). In the study group,20 eyes were treated with the active fluid flow system phacoemulsification, and 20 cases in the control group were treated with gravity fluid flow system phacoemulsification. Both groups of patients were successfully completed by the same skilled physician. The intraoperative ultrasound energy was recorded separately. The BCVA?ECD?CCT was measured 1 day,1 week, and 1 month after surgery. The high-order aberrations of the pupil diameter of 3 mm in the natural state of the eye were measured using i Trace.Order aberration, spherical aberration, coma, clover aberration and MTF under higher-order aberrations,Data using the single factor analysis of variance. Results: There were differences in CDE?ECD?CCT between the two groups, and the difference was statistically significant. The BCVA in the two groups was significantly different at 1 day,1 week, and 1 month after surgery. The CCT in the study group was lower than control group 1 day and 1 week after the operation,In the study group, the total high-order aberrations, coma aberrations, spherical aberrations of the whole eye(pupil diameter 3 mm)1 day,1 week and 1 month after the operation,MTF of the high-order aberrations were better than control group, and the difference was statistically significant. The total high-order aberrations of the two groups gradually approached the same level with time. Conclusion:The active control fluid flow system can reduce the use of ultrasound energy in phacoemulsification compared with gravity fluid flow system. It can better protect the cornea and reduce the changes of corneal high-order aberrations,so that patients can get better postoperative Visual quality.
