Clinical Observation Of Jiawei Bupleurum Siwu Decoction In Treating Acne With Phlegm And Blood Stasis

Purpose: By observing the changes of skin lesions and the improvement of TCM syndromes before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy of modified Chaihu Siwu Decoction in the treatment of acne with mutual knot of phlegm and blood stasis was evaluated.Method:70 patients with phlegm and blood stasis type acne were selected according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of this study.The patients were numbered by random number table method,divided into treatment group and control group,each group 35 cases.The treatment group was treated with Jiawei Chaihu Siwu decoction,the control group was taken orally with tanshinone capsule,and the two groups were treated with tanshinone capsule for four weeks,followed up once a week,and returned to the patients after treatment.During the observation period,the changes of skin lesions,TCM syndromes and adverse reactions were recorded before treatment and at the 2nd and 4th weeks of treatment,and the corresponding scores and curative effect evaluation were carried out after the completion of the experiment.Result:A total of 67 patients in this study completed this trial,including 34 in the treatment group and 33 in the control group.The clinical observation and statistical analysis,the results showed that : 1.there was no significant difference in the basic data between the two groups before treatment;2.based on the skin injury integral comparison,the improvement of skin injury symptoms in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05);3.Based on the TCM syndrome integral comparison,the syndrome improvement index in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);4.total effective rate in the treatment group was 79.41% higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);5.based on safety comparison,1 case of mild adverse reactions in the treatment group was significantly lower than 7 cases in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Bupleurum Siwu decoction can effectively improve the skinlesions of patients with acne caused by mutual phlegm and blood stasis,promote the regression of rash,and has good therapeutic effect with fewer adverse reactions.
