ObjectiveInvestigate the use of medical and health services and life satisfaction of the elderly, explore the factors that affect the use of health services and acceptable living of the elderly, and the relationship between the use of health services and life satisfaction,in order to improve the use of health services in elderly Quality of life provides policy evidence.MethodPhased facilitation sampling method was used to select the elderly over 60 years old in three jurisdictions of Shangqiu City(Liangyuan District,Urban-rural Integration Demonstration Zone, and Liyang District)as the research objects, and conducted field surveys. The survey tools included questionnaires of general sociodemographic characteristics 2.Using the elderly medical and health services questionnaire and life satisfaction scale index A,statistical analysis was performed using descriptive statistical methods, independent sample t test,one-way analysis of variance,non-parametric test, and multiple linear regression. The test standard a=0.05.Result1.(Status of utilization of medical and health servicesThrough the investigation of whether the disease was seen within two weeks, whether the patient was hospitalized within one year, whether the regular physical examination was conducted, etc.,the utilization of medical and health services for the elderly was analyzed. The results showed that only 30.8% of the patients were diagnosed within two weeks. The main reasons were that they were mildly conscious(48.2%)and bought medicines themselves(34.9%);only 37.6% of the patients were hospitalized within one year. The main reason was The condition was mild(80.3%).Only 9.2% of the patients had regular physical examinations, the main reasons were fear of trouble(23.1%)and weak health awareness(21.1%).2.Single factor analysis of the status of medical and health service utilizationA Chi-square test was used to analyze the current status of medical and health services using a single factor analysis. The main factors that affect whether elderly people see a doctor within two weeks are marital status, participation in insurance,self-assessed health status, medical cost burden, and recent medical institution expenditure time. The main factors that affect whether elderly are hospitalized within one year are education, age, gender, participation in insurance,self-assessed health status, and time spent by the nearest medical institution. The main factors affecting the regular physical examination of the elderly are education level, form of participation in insurance,self-assessment of health status, suffering from chronic diseases, burden of medical expenses, and time spent by recent medical institutions.3.Multi-factor analysis of the status of utilization of medical and health servicesLogistic regression model was used for multivariate analysis. The results of multiple linear regression analysis that affected elderly patients to see a doctor within two weeks showed that the factors that ultimately entered the regression equation included age, tending to support the elderly,self-assessed health, and the nearest medical institution Spend time. There is a significant difference in the effect of self-saving pension and children's pension in the tended pension mode on whether or not the patient is treated within two weeks. The results of multiple linear regression analysis that affect whether elderly patients are hospitalized within one year show that the factors that ultimately enter the regression equation include gender, participation in insurance, and chronic diseases. There are significant differences in the impact of participating insurance forms between urban and rural residents' medical insurance, commercial insurance, and other medical insurance for urban employees on whether they are hospitalized within one year. The results of multiple linear regression analysis that affect whether the elderly have regular physical examinations show that the factors that ultimately enter the regression equation include education, participation in insurance,self-assessed health status, and chronic disease. There are significant differences in the impact of the forms of insurance between urban and rural residents' medical insurance and urban employee's medical insurance on whether they undergo regular physical examinations.4.Analysis of the status of life satisfaction and its influencing factorsThe average satisfaction score of elderly with positive emotions was(6.25 ± 2.043)points,and the average score of negative emotions was(3.63 ± 1.868)points.The average total score of life satisfaction was(9.88 ± 2.636)points,which was at a low level. The single-factor analysis results that affect the life satisfaction of the elderly show that the main factors affecting the life satisfaction of the elderly are gender, age, marital status, children's status, income source, medical cost burden, smoking, drinking, sleep duration,Self-assessment of health status, chronic disease. The results of multiple linear regression analysis that affect the elderly's life satisfaction show that the factors that ultimately enter the regression equation include gender, age, whether to smoke, whether to drink, whether to exercise regularly,self-assessed health status, whether to suffer from chronic diseases, and marital status. The difference in the impact of widowed on life satisfaction is significant(P <0.05).The difference in the impact of relative supply on income satisfaction in income sources is significant(P<0.05).They tend to save their own money and support their children There is a significant difference in the effect of pension on life satisfaction(P<0.05).5.Analysis of the Impact of Utilization of Medical and Health Services of Elderly on Life SatisfactionThere were significant differences in the impact of life satisfaction on whether the patient was seen within two weeks, whether the patient was hospitalized within one year,or whether there was a regular physical examination(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The utilization of medical and health services for the elderly is not satisfactory. The rate of medical consultation within two weeks, the rate of hospitalization within one year, and the rate of regular physical examinations are all low.2.The elderly's life satisfaction is at a moderately low level.3.The main factors affecting the use of medical and health services for the elderly include education,age,self-assessed health status, participation in insurance forms, chronic diseases, and the time spent by the nearest medical institution.4.The main factors influencing the life satisfaction of elderly include gender, age, marital status, tendency to support the elderly, income source, payment of medical expenses, smoking, drinking, regular exercise,self-assessment of health status, and chronic diseases.5.Utilization of medical and health services for the elderly has an impact on life satisfaction.
