Objective:To compare the clinical effect of conventional laparotomy and laparoscopic surgery in the prognosis for colon cancer patients.Methods:84 colon cancer patients treated from February 2014 to February 2017 in our hospital were selected.Based on the random number table, the subjects were assigned to control group and test group,42 cases each group. The patients received the conventional laparotomy and laparoscopic surgery, respectively. The operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, dissected lymph nodes, hospitalization days, recovery time of gastrointestinal function, cellular immune function as well as the incidence rate of short-term and long-term complications was compared. Results:Compared with control group, the test group had the shorter incision length and lower bleeding volume(P<0.05);there were no significant between-group differences in the distal and proximal incision length, tumor diameter, distal incision margin distance and dissected number of lymph nodes(P>0.05);the postoperative exhaust time, recovery time of gastrointestinal function and hospitalization days for test group were significantly shorter than control group(P<0.05);from the postoperative period to prior discharge from hospital, the incidence rate of complications was significantly lower than control group(P<0.05);before 1d of surgery, there was no significant between-group difference in the immune function index(P>0.05);except for NK(natural killer)cells, the index of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+and CD4+/CD8+for test group after 7d of surgery were significantly higher than control group(P<0.05);before 1d of surgery, there was no significant between-group difference in the life quality indicators(P>0.05);after 30d of surgery, the scores of subjective symptoms, physiological function, social activity, psychological and emotional status and GLQI(gastrointestinal life quality index)total scores for test group were significantly better than control group(P<0.05);after follow-up visit, the incidence rate of intestinal obstruction for test group was significantly lower than control group(P<0.05);there was no significant between-group difference in the implantation condition, local recurrence, distant metastasis and death rate after 1y of surgery(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with conventional laparotomy, the laparoscopic surgery has an obvious short-term and long-term effect, and higher safety and reliability.
