Objective:By studying the clinical effect of two kinds of CME operations to compare advantages and disadvantages for patients with colon cancer—laparotomy and laparoscopic operation to provide appropriate reference for clinical work.Methods:Eighty-seven patients with colon cancer undergoing CME operation in Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital from September 2012 to September 2017 were selected, and the emergency operation conditions such as acute intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal perforation and massive hemorrhage were excluded.Except for those with incomplete clinical data, the remaining 80 patients were divided into laparotomy group(50 cases)and Endoscopy Group(30 cases)according to the different surgical approaches-laparotomy and endoscopy.Comparing the two groups of patients after surgery,to determine whether there are statistical differences in the occurrence of complications between the two groups, and to briefly analyze the development and future of CME and laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery for colon cancer. Results:According to the statistical analysis of the data of laparotomy CME group and laparoscopic CME group, there were significant statistical differences in the data of surgical and postoperative complications between the two groups.Endoscopic surgery is superior to laparotomy in terms of intraoperative bleeding volume, incision length andpostoperative complications.CME in laparotomy group is superior to that in laparotomy group in terms of operation time and lymph node clearance. There is no significant difference in hospitalization time and cost between the two groups. Conclusion:For patients with colon cancer, the incidence of complications after CME operation is different between the laparotomy group and the laparoscopy group. The incidence of abdominal infection, incision infection, fistula and operation-related factors in laparoscopic group were significantly lower than those in laparoscopic group. Therefore,on the premise of fully evaluating and considering the condition of patients with colon cancer and having skilled laparoscopic surgery technology,it is suggested that CME surgery under laparoscopy be used to reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
