Disabled people,as one of the vulnerable groups in society,are under great physical and psychological pressure.The causes of disability are mainly divided into congenital and acquired.Accidental injuries are one of the more common acquired factors that lead to disability.Due to the unexpected and unpredictable characteristics of accidental injuries,people usually get into trouble because they are not prepared for accidental injuries.Although today's rehabilitation technology is more advanced,in the early stages of accidental disability,many patients will face pressure from families,peer groups and society,and then face psychological,economic and social adaptation difficulties,and even endanger them.Life is healthy.Therefore,it is important to focus on the physical and mental health of accidentally disabled people.The accidentally disabled youth group has not yet matured physically and mentally,and the adverse psychological response to the result of the accidental disability is more serious.Such groups need to receive corresponding intervention and services.Medical social work as a self-help professional and occupation can not only provide psychological support,help clients resolve bad emotions,but also link social resources to help clients adapt to life after discharge and recover as soon as possible.This study takes an accidental amputated child contacted by the author as an example,uses case-based work methods,and is guided by crisis intervention theory.First,in the field of medical care,relevant research involving interventional disability patients and social work intervention of such patients On the basis of related research and crisis intervention research of accidentally disabled patients,the main dilemmas faced are analyzed based on the characteristics of the clients.Secondly,follow the work flow of individual social work at the micro level to provide crisis intervention services for service objects.The client in this article is a child who was injured due to an accidental fall.Due to the severity of the injury,amputation surgery is required.The client is resistant to surgery and other treatments before the operation and resists treatment.Social workers communicate with medical staff and family members of patients to understand the basic situation of service targets,and provide psychological counseling,case visits,and linking MASTER'S THESIS social resources for the service targets to alleviate the disadvantages of the service targets by setting specific service goals Emotions to help him successfully complete the operation and gradually recover.Finally,this paper summarizes the effectiveness of medical social work in the intervention of children with accidental disabilities,the role played by medical social workers,and the effectiveness of the crisis intervention model in the process of intervening in children with accidental disabilities.In addition,it reflects on the current dilemma of medical social work,mainly manifested in low recognition,lack of professional medical knowledge and practical experience of medical social workers,and lack of professional supervision,etc.,and proposes corresponding countermeasures for different dilemmas,such as strengthening publicity efforts,Improve the training system for medical social work interns,improve professional ability and comprehensive quality,and introduce professional supervision,etc.
