Objective:Through this retrospective study,to explore the clinical efficacy of knee arthroscopy using LARS artificial ligament(Ligament Advanced Reinforcement System)to reconstruct knee cruciate ligament with autologous ST/G tendon, and follow-up for at least one year after surgery.Methods:60 patients with knee rupture of cruciate ligament admitted by the Department of Orthopedics,Chifeng College Affiliated Hospital from January 2008 to December 2018(all patients' MRI and other imaging data are prompted before surgery The patient's cruciate ligament was completely broken). The surgical method used knee arthroscopy to reconstruct the cruciate ligament, and the LARS artificial ligament and autologous ST/G tendon were used to reconstruct the cruciate ligament. There were 30 patients in the LARS artificial ligament group and autologous ST/G tendon group. We used the Lysholm knee scoring method, the International Knee Documentation Committee(IKDC)scoring system, and the Tegner activity grading system for clinical follow-up of patients' reconstruction results for at least one year.Follow-up was performed at 3 months,6 months,9 months, and 12 months and more after surgery. The front and back drawer tests were used to evaluate the postoperative mechanical stability of the patients.Walk time and resume daily exercise time to compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients.Results:60 patients with cruciate ligament injury were followed up for 12 to 18 months, with an average follow-up time of 13 months. The results of the last follow-up of all patients were significantly improved compared with those before the operation. No complications such as infection, spontaneous ligament rupture and ligament loosening occurred in the two groups. The knee joint stability and function indexes of the two groups of patients were significantly improved compared with those before the operation, and the differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:The follow-up results showed that the reconstruction of the knee cruciate ligament with the LARS artificial ligament under arthroscope was faster than the autogenous tendon(ST/G)reconstruction of the knee cruciate ligament. The artificial ligament as a graft for reconstruction of the cruciate ligament injury of the knee joint can reduce the destruction of the patient's own tissue structure and can effectively reduce the risk of complications in the donor area caused by the self-tendon.At the same time,it can significantly reduce the time required for surgery. And patients can also restore knee function earlier through early functional exercise. The clinical effect of using LARS artificial ligament to reconstruct cruciate ligament under arthroscopy is definite, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
