Analysis On The Risk Factors Of Peri-pregnancy Period Birth Defects In Chifeng District

Objective: To provide scientific basis for preventing birth defects of offspring in Chi Feng region by analyzing the risk factors of perinatal fetal birth defects.Methods:Atotal of 327 pregnant women were collected from May 2018 to January 2020 in Chi Feng Reproductive Maternity Branch of Inner Mongolia University for nationalities for systematic prenatal examination and finally delivery or termination of pregnancy in our hospital.The basic condition,the health condition,the living environment,the traditional Chinese medicine constitution of the pregnant women were investigated,and the disease condition of the pregnancy was followed up in the middle,late and 42 days after pregnancy,according to the final pregnancy outcome on the basis of 1:2,there were 109 cases and 218 cases in the control group.Results:According to the analysis of enrollment,in the birth defect group,there were 32 cases of Congenital Heart Disease,accounting for 29.3% of the total cases;25 cases of Neural Tube Defects,accounting for 22.9% of the total cases;18cases of Polydactyly,accounting for 16.5% of the total cases;12 cases of Cleft Lip and Palate,accounting for 11% of the total cases;8 cases of 21-Trisomy Syndrome,accounting for 7.3% of the total cases;5 cases of Hypospadias,accounting for 4.5% of the total cases;4 cases of Open Spina Bifida,accounting for 3.6% of the total cases;3 cases of Hydrocephalus,accounting for 2.7% of the total cases;2 cases of Limb Shortening,1.8% of the total cases.The univariate logistic regression analysis showed that there was no statistical difference in mother's age,nationality,and occupation between the two groups(P >0.05);mother's education level,family annual income,bad maternal history,pregnancy complications,cold during pregnancy,taking drugs during pregnancy,father's smoking and drinking,new house decoration were the risk factors of birth defects.Oral folic acid before pregnancy and early pregnancy were the protective factors of birth defects.The results of univariate analysis of TCM physique showed that yin-yang harmony was the protective factor of birth defects,yang deficiency and phlegm dampness were the risk factors of birth defects,and there was no statistical difference between the other two groups(P >0.05).The results of the multi-factor analysis showed that oral folic acid before pregnancy and early pregnancy were the protective factors of birth defects,mother's education,bad maternal history,pregnancy complications,cold during pregnancy,medication during pregnancy,father's drinking and house renovation were the risk factors for birth defects.Conclusion:Among the types of birth defects in Chifeng area,the top five is Congenital Heart Disease,Neural Tube Defects,Polydactyly,Cleft Lip and Palate,21-TrisomySyndrome.Therefore,we should pay more attention to the screening and prevention of these types of birth defects;mother's education level,bad pregnancy history,pregnancy complications,pregnancy cold,pregnancy medication,new house decoration are the risk factors of birth defects;oral folic acid before pregnancy and early pregnancy are the protective factors of birth defects,.yang deficiency and phlegm dampness were the risk factors of birth defects,yin-yang harmony was the protective factor of birth defects,we can offer assistance to the women who was pregnant or before pregnant form the constitution theory of traditional Chinese medicine.
