Objective:To explore the relationship between TCM syndrome types and tongue images of osteoarthritis in the elderly, and to provide evidence for the syndrome differentiation of osteoarthritis in the elderly. Methods:The elderly patients with osteoarthritis were collected from January 2019 to July 2019 at the Wujing Street Community Health Service Center(the third affiliated hospital of Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Gang Shunkui Primary Expert Work Station)in Kunming,(Observation group)and non-osteoarthritis elderly(control group)300 cases each.Using the tongue-facial vein information collection physique identification system(model: DS01-A)produced by Shanghai Daosheng Medical Technology Co.,Ltd.,the L,a,b values of the tongue color and tongue coating, and the results of the tongue shape were collected, and the database was established using Excel software Statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS25.0 software.Results:1.Observation group syndrome type, tongue color distributionAmong the 300 patients in the observation group, the syndrome types were mostly kidney deficiency and marrow deficiency(42%),followed by yang deficiency and cold coagulation(39.67%),and blood stasis block(18.33%).The tongue color is mostly light red(47%),dark red tongue accounts for 38%,and 15% is other tongue colors.2.Comparison of tongue image value between observation group and control groupThe tongue color L value in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P <0.05),and the tongue color a value in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in tongue color b value and Tongue fur color L,a,b value between observation group and control group(P>0.05).3.Comparison of tongue shape between observation group and control groupThe composition ratio of fat tongue in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P <0.05),and the composition ratio of tooth marks in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P <0.05).4.Comparison of digital tongue diagram parameters of different syndromes in the observation groupTongue color L value: Tongue deficiency of kidney deficiency and marrow deficiency type has the highest.Tongue features of kidney deficiency and kidney deficiency type, yang deficiency and cold coagulation type and blood stasis block type have statistical significance(P <0.01).There was no statistically significant difference in tongue image between kidney-deficiency and marrow deficiency type and Yang-deficiency cold-condensation type(P>0.05).Tongue color a value: The tongue image value of kidney deficiency and marrow deficiency type is the lowest, followed by the blood stasis block type, and the Yang deficiency and cold coagulation type is the highest. The kidney-deficiency and marrow-deficiency type had statistical significance compared with the Yang-deficiency-cold type(P <0.01).There was no statistically significant difference in tongue image value between blood stasis block type, kidney deficiency marrow deficiency type, and Yang deficiency cold condensation type(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.Older patients with osteoarthritis deficiency syndrome(kidney deficiency type,Yang deficiency cold coagulation type)tongue color L value is higher than empirical syndrome(blood stasis type),which can provide an objective for clinical identification of osteoarthritis deficiency syndrome and empirical evidence Reference index for digitization and digitization.2.Tongue color a value can provide a reference for the differential diagnosis of kidney-deficiency marrow deficiency type and yang-deficiency cold condensation type.3.The fat tongue and dentate tongue are common tongue shapes in the elderly with osteoarthritis.
