Objective: To explore the influence of ERAS concept on perioperative stress indexes and postoperative recovery of patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer. Methods: Prospectively included patients with colorectal cancer who were diagnosed in the gastrointestinal surgery of Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Dalian University from October 2018 to December 2019.According to the random number table method, they were divided into accelerated rehabilitation group(experimental group)and routine group(control group).Comparison of clinical indicators(first exhaust time, first defecation time, feeding time, length of hospital stay),NRS pain score, laboratory indicators of white blood cell count(WBC),C-reactive protein(CRP),and interleukin 6(IL-6),serum amyloid A(SAA)content and perioperative adverse reaction rate,etc.Chi-square test and t test were used to compare the differences between the groups,p <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: 1.The first postoperative exhaust time(51.2 ± 4.15 h vs 62.52 ±3.93h),fluid feeding time(3.38 ± 6.69 d vs 5.42 ± 0.77d),first defecation time(55.95 ± 6.10 h vs 69.78 ± 7.49h)and hospital stay(9.33 ± 1.65 d vs12.05 ± 1.72d)in the accelerated rehabilitation group were shorter than the conventional group,(p <0.05),NRS pain scores at6h(2.95 ± 0.86 vs 3.85 ±1.02),24h(2.43 ± 0.81 vs 3.47 ±0.91)and 48 hours(1.48 ± 1.12 vs 2.74± 0.87)after surgery were lower than those in the conventional group(p<0.05).2.Stress response indicators: WBC content in the accelerated recovery group was lower than that in the conventional group on the third day after surgery(p<0.05);C-reactive protein(CRP),The levels of interleukin 6(IL-6)and serum amyloid A(SAA)in the accelerated rehabilitation group were lower than those in theconventional group(p<0.05).3.The incidence of postoperative complications in the accelerated rehabilitation group was 9.5%(2/21),which was significantly lower than that in the conventional group(26.3%(5/19)),but the difference was not statistically significant(p> 0.05).Conclusion: The application of the concept of enhance recovery after surgery in the perioperative period of laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer can reduce postoperative stress response, reduce postoperative pain, shorten the postoperative hospital stay, speed up postoperative recovery and improve clinical efficacy.
