Therapeutic Effect Of Acupuncture Combined With Probiotics On Antibiotic-associated Diarrhea Of Spleen-kidney Yang Deficiency In The Elderly

Objective : To observe and compare the efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with probiotics and the use of probiotics alone,and preliminarily explore the advantages and significance of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with probiotics in the treatment of elderly patients with spleen-kidney Yang deficiency of antibiotic-related diarrhea,so as to improve the patient's constitution of traditional Chinese Medicine and improve their quality of life.Methods:A total of 60 elderly patients were selected from the respiration department and cadres department of the first affiliated hospital of Guangxi university of Chinese medicine in October 2018 to November 2019.All the selected patients were randomly divided into observation group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The control group was given probiotics(Bifidobacterium aureus triple viable tablet)orally,3 times a day,2g each time,the observation group was given navel acupuncture combined with mild moxibustion of Shenque point on the basic tresrment of the control group.Three trigrams of Kun,Qian,Kan and Gen trigrams were selected for navel acupuncture position,once a day,30 minutes each time,7 days as a course oftreatment.The diarrhea grade,symptom scores and curative effect of the two groups were observed before and after treatment,and SPSS17.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results:(1)The age and sex of the patients in the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05)and were comparable.(2)After 3 days of treatment,the total score of diarrhea grade in the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the time of came into effect in observation group shorter than the control group.After 7 days of treatment,the total score of diarrhea in the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group.(3)There was a statistically significant difference in TCM symptoms between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the observation group has obvious curative effect on the symptoms of spleen-kidney Yang deficiency,which is superior to the probiotics alone.(4)The total effective rate of TCM symptoms was 90.0% in the observation group and 66.7% in the control group.There was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture and moxibustion combined probiotics is better than oral probiotics in the treatment of AAD of spleen and kidney yang deficiency in the elderly,acupuncture and moxibustion combined probiotics has a definite effect on AAD,with fast onset time,and can significantly improve the syndrome of spleen and kidney Yang-deficiency,improve immunity,in clinic,it can be used as external treatment of TCM in the treatment of AAD of the elderly,improving the effectiveness and overall effect,and has a certain promotion value.
