Objective: To study Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Syndrome and the regularity change of average surface temperature of infrared thermogram(IT)in different parts and acupoints in non-dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD)stage 3~5 using Infrared imaging technology(IRT),in oder to provide objective basis for TCM Syndrome of CKD.Methods: In this study,a total of 60 non-dialysis patients with CKD stage3~5 meeting the inclusion criteria from the outpatients or inpatients of the department of nephropathy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guang Xi TCM University were in the CKD group from March 2018 to October 2019 and dialectical classification of TCM was performed.Among the CKD group,there were 33 cases in CKD3 group,16 cases in CKD4 group,and 11 cases in CKD5 group.A total of 30 healthy people in the physical examination center from the same periods and hospital were collected as the control group.IRT was used to detect the research objects and collect IT.And then we recorded the average body surface temperature of different parts(double kidney,double knee,and Du channel)and acupoints(double Shenshu(BL23),double Taixi(KI3)and Mingmen(GV4)).Results:(1)The relationship between the stages of CKD group and the average surface temperature of IT in different parts:(1)Areas of the double kidney: the CKD5 group was lower than the control group,and was lower than the CKD3 group in the area of the right kidney.There was a statistically significant(P <0.05).(2)Areas of the double knee: There was no statistical significance among the CKD stage 3,4,5,and the control group(P>0.05).(3)The area of Du channel: CKD stage 3,4,and 5 group were lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05 or P <0.01).(2)The relationship between the stages of CKD group and the average surface temperature of IT in different acupoints:(1)Double Shenshu and double Taixi: There were no statistical differences among the CKD stage 3,4,5,and the control group(P>0.05).(2)Mingmen: The CKD stage 4,5 group were lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The relationship between the TCM syndrome types of CKD group and the average surface temperature of IT in different parts:(1)Areas of the double kidney: The spleen-kidney yang deficiency group was lower than the control group,spleen-kidney qi deficiency group,and liver-kidney yin deficiency group with statistically significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01).(2)Areas of the double knee: The spleen-kidney yang deficiency group was lower than the liver-kidney yin deficiency group,and was lower than the control group in the area of the right knee.The result had statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The area of Du channel: The spleen-kidney yang deficiency group was lower than the control group,spleen-kidney qi deficiency group,qi-yin deficiency group,and liver-kidney yin deficiency group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The qi-yin deficiency group was lower than the control group with statistically significant(P<0.01).(4)The relationship between the TCM syndrome types of CKD group and the average surface temperature of IT in different acupoints:(1)Double Shenshu: the spleen-kidney yang deficiency group was lower than the control group and the liver-kidney yin deficiency group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01).(2)Double Taixi:The spleen-kidney yang deficiency group was lower than the control group,and was lower than the liver-kidney yin deficiency group on the right side of Taixi.The difference was significant(P<0.01).(3)Mingmen: The spleen-kidney yang deficiency group was lower than the control group and the liver-kidney yin deficiency group.The result had statistically significant(P<0.01).The spleen-kidney qi deficiency group was lower than the liver-kidney yin deficiency group with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)The average surface temperature of IT in the area of double kidney and Du channel,and the acupoint of Mingmen may be lower in the non-dialysis patients of CKD stage5.(2)The average surface temperature of the IT in the spleen-kidney yang deficiency of non-dialysis patients with CKD in the area of the double kidney,double knee,and Du channel,and the acupoint of Mingmen and double shenshu may be lower than the liver-kidney yin deficiency.
