Study On The Correlation Between Frequent Premature Ventricular Contractions And TCM Constitution

Objective:1.To study the correlation between frequent premature ventricular contractions and TCM constitution,and to provide useful ideas and methods for TCM to effectively intervene premature contractions and improve prognosis at a reasonable time.2.Through this study,we can achieve the goal of preventing diseases and changes in both diseases in TCM.Methods:Formulate TCM constitution questionnaire(see attached table);120 patients who met frequent ventricular premature beats and signed informed consent form were enrolled in our hospital for cross-sectional investigation.According to the ECG judgment criteria of Western medicine,the patients'ventricular premature beats were divided into different origin sites,and according to TCM constitution questionnaire,the patients' four diagnoses and clinical information were collected,the constitution identification database was established,and the card was used.Square test,t-test or analysis of variance,logistic regression analysis and other data transformation operations were conducted to study the distribution of constitution types in patients with frequent premature ventricular contractions,which factors affect the occurrence of frequent premature ventricular contractions,and which factors are related to the location of the source of premature ventricular contractions.Results:1.The age of frequent premature ventricular contractions was statistically different by chi-square test(X2=66.417,P<0.01).The age of predisposition was 50-59 years.Overall,there were more female patients than male patients.There was no statistical significance between age and gender(X2=3.261,P>0.05).2.The sources of frequent premature ventricular contractions can be divided into left ventricular outflow tract,right ventricular outflow tract and non-outflow tract.The chi-square test(P<0.01)showed statistical significance,with the most patients originating from right ventricular outflow tract.3.Distribution of constitution types in patients with frequent premature ventricular contractions was phlegm-dampness(22%)>blood-stasis(19%)>Qi-deficiency(17%)>Yang-deficiency(14%)>Yin-deficiency(12%)>dampness-heat(9%)>calmness(4%)>qi-depression(2.5%)>idiosyncratic(0%)(P<0.01).4.There was no significant difference in age,sex,location of the source of premature ventricular contraction and constitution type of traditional Chinese medicine by medical statistics(P>0.05).5.Poor lifestyle habits(smoking,drinking,staying up late,etc.)and too late diet(coffee,tea,etc.)will contribute to the occurrence of diseases.6.The logistic regression analysis showed that the factors(sex,age,physical type,sleep,staying up late,smoking,drinking,tea drinking,coffee drinking)and the location of premature ventricular origin,all P values were>0.05,with no statistical significance.Conclusion:1.The male-to-female ratio of the patients collected in this cross-sectional study was 1:1.3,and there were slightly more female patients.There was statistical significance in the five age groups.The age range of frequent premature ventricular contractions was 40-59 years old.2.The common constitutional types of patients with frequent premature ventricular contractions are phlegm-dampness,blood stasis,Qi deficiency,Yang deficiency,Yin deficiency,et al.3.Statistical significance was found in three source sites:left ventricular outflow tract,right ventricular outflow tract and non-outflow tract.The most source site was right ventricular outflow tract.There was no significant correlation between the location of premature ventricular outflow tract and gender,age,physical type,etc.4.Smoking or not,drinking or not,drinking tea,drinking coffee,staying up late and the occurrence of frequent premature ventricular contractions were statistically significant,and suggested that good living habits are very important.
