Objective: To study the correlation between frequent ventricular premature contractions of different origins and Chinese medical evidence,to provide new ideas and treatment methods for clinical treatment of ventricular premature contractions and effectively shorten the treatment time. Methods: One hundred and sixty patients with frequent ventricular premature beats in the outpatient and inpatient cardiology departments of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2018 to November 2020 were selected for their TCM identification and typing without limitation and relevant data and information on the four TCM consultations were collected. Results: 1.The number of patients with frequent ventricular premature beats in different outflow tracts differed significantly(P<0.05),with patients in the right ventricular outflow tract accounting for 57.5% of the total number, and the age of onset was mostly60-70 years;no significant difference between sexes in the origin of frequent ventricular premature contractions;with no significant difference between gender and age groups(P>0.05).2.The top 5 comorbidities in patients with frequent ventricular premature beats were: hypertension, coronary artery disease, cardiac insufficiency, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and hyperlipidemia. There was no statistically significant relationship between comorbidities and different outflow tract ventricular premature beats(P>0.05).3.Among the 10 evidence elements in patients with frequent ventricular premature contractions, the top four proportions were qi asthenia, yin deficiency, blood stasis, and phlegm. The first four symptoms were statistically significant(P<0.05)with different outflow tract ventricular premature contractions.Patients with frequent ventricular premature beats in different outflow tracts commonly had Qi and Yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis,Qi and Yin deficiency and blood stasis, and Qi and Yin deficiency with stasis(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The right ventricular outflow tract is the most common site of origin of premature ventricular contractions.2.Frequent ventricular premature contractions of different origins are not related to gender or age group. The most common comorbidities of different origins of frequent premature ventricular contractions are hypertension, coronary artery disease, type 2 diabetes, cardiac insufficiency, and hyperlipidemia,in that order.Frequent premature ventricular contractions of different origins are not associated with co-morbidities.3.The most common elements of evidence in the right ventricular outflow tract are,in order,qi asthenia,Yin deficiency, blood stasis, and qi stagnation. The most common symptoms are,in order,qi asthenia and Yin deficiency,qi asthenia and qi stagnation, and blood stasis and qi stagnation.4.The most common elements of evidence in the left ventricular outflow tract are blood stasis, phlegm,qi asthenia, and yin deficiency in that order. The most common symptoms are phlegm and blood stasis,qi asthenia and yin deficiency, and qi asthenia and blood stasis,in that order.5.The most common elements of evidence in the non-outflow tract are,in order,qi asthenia,Yin deficiency, phlegm, and blood stasis. The most common symptoms are,in order,qi asthenia and yin deficiency, phlegm and qi stagnation, and qi asthenia and blood stasis.
