Clinical Observation On Warm Acupuncture For Radiation Enteritis

ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect of warm acupuncture on radiation enteritis,with a view to providing new ideas and reference for the prevention and treatment of radiation enteritis by Chinese medicine.MethodA total of 60 patients who met the inclusion criteria of the Oncology Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and divided randomly into a treatment group and a control group,with 30 cases in each group.During the study period,both groups received basic nutritional support such as water and electrolyte disturbances and acid-base balance disorders caused by diarrhea.Control group: oral loperamide hydrochloride capsules +metronidazole tablets.Treatment group: Warm acupuncture intervention was given to the control group.The two groups were observed for 14 days.After the end of the treatment cycle,observe and record the total clinical effectiveness,TCM symptom score,KPS score,time to first symptom relief,and routine improvement of stool in both groups,and comprehensively evaluate the clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture on radiation enteritis.Results1.After treatment in the two groups,the total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P <0.05);2.After treatment in the two groups,the scores of abdominal pain,post-emergency weight,cold limbs,fatigue,fatigue,and stool frequency in the treatment group were lower than those before treatment(P <0.05).).Comparing the two groups,the treatmentgroup was more significant than the control group in improving abdominal pain,cold limbs,fatigue,and stool frequency(P <0.05),and there was no obvious advantage in regurgitation(P> 0.05);3.After treatment in both groups,the stool routine can be improved(microscopic examination of red blood cells and occult blood test points)(P <0.05).The improvement in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05);4.After treatment in the two groups,the card score of the treatment group was improved compared with that before treatment(P <0.05),and the card score of the control group was not significantly improved(P> 0.05);5.After the two groups of treatment,the treatment time for the first symptom improvement in the treatment group was less than that in the control group(P <0.05);6.No significant adverse reactions were seen during the treatment in both groups.conclusionWarm acupuncture for radiation enteritis can significantly improve clinical efficacy,improve quality of life,reduce TCM symptoms and stool routine(red blood cell count and occult blood test)points,shorten treatment time;Warm acupuncture treatment shou ld be less adverse reactions,high safety and effectiveness.
