Objective:The purpose of this study is to explore the role and mechanism of inflammatory cytokine IL-6 in the occurrence and development of clinical symptoms of CSR through the theoretical study and clinical observation of short acupuncture in the treatment of cervical Spondylotic radiculopathy((CSR)),to observe the efficacy of short acupuncture in the treatment of CSR,and to analyze the correlation between the curative effect and serum IL-6,so as to provide evidence for the further promotion of short acupuncture in the treatment of cervical Spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods:Chinese and foreign data were consulted and cases were collected.Finally,55 cases were randomly divided into treatment group(n=28)and control group(n=27).The treatment group was treated with short acupuncture, and the control group was treated with common acupuncture, once every other day,3 times a week,2 weeks as a course of treatment, with a rest of 2 days during the course of treatment and 2 consecutive courses of treatment.Through the comparison of serum IL-6 concentration between the two groups before and after treatment, the therapeutic effect was evaluated with Tian Zhongjing long cervical spondylosis symptom scale 20 points, visual analogy pain score and neck disability finger quantity table.Results:1 the scores of VAS and NDI in the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the scores of VAS and NDI in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).(2)after treatment, the cervical spondylosis symptom scale 20 score was superior in the two groups((P<0.01).(3)the concentration of IL-6 in the patients in the group was significantly higher than that in the healthy persons((P<0.01)).(4)after treatment, the concentration of serum IL-6 in both groups decreased, and the concentration in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.055 after treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 82.14%,which was statistically significant compared with 70.37%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:As an important inflammatory factor,IL-6 plays a very important role in the pathogenesis and clinical development of cervical Spondylotic radiculopathy, and its concentration is positively correlated with the severity of CSR.Compared with the common acupuncture method, the serum concentration after short acupuncture treatment is significantly lower, and the cervical spondylosis symptom scale score 20 points,VAS and NDI score have obvious curative effect,so short acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture has obvious advantages in the treatment of CSR,which is worth popularizing.
