Clinical Observation Of Mahuang Lianqiao Chixiaodou Decoction In The Treatment Of Damp-Heat Syndrome Acute Gout

Objective: To estimate the clinical effect and the safety of the Mahuang lianqiao Chixiaodou decoction By observing the changes of erythrocyte sedimentation rate,blood uric acid,clinical symptoms and signs,C-reactive protein,pain score index of patients with acute gout with damp heat syndrome type before and after treatment with Mahuang Lianqiao Chixiaodou Decoction.Methods: Ninety patients that they were diagnosed as acute gout in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Xinjiang Autonomous Region from December 2018 to February 2020 were randomly selected from the Statistics Department of our hospital and were used to divide patients who met the diagnostic criteria into a control group and a treatment group by Random number table method,45 cases in each group.The control group was given oral etoxib tablets,and the treatment group was given the Mahuang lianqiao Chixiaodou decoction.After 5 days of treatment,we observe the changes of clinical symptom scores,blood uric acid,adverse reactions,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,clinical efficacy,pain score indicators before and after treatment in two groups of patients.We conduct statistical analysis and evaluation of Mahuang Lianqiao Chixiaodou Decoction for the treatment of acute damp-heat syndrome Gout clinical efficacy and safety.Results:(1)After treatment,the serum C-reactive protein,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,and pain score indexes of the two groups were lower than before treatment,and the serum C-reactive protein had no statistically significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P> 0.05).the difference between the two groups before and after treatment was not statistically significant(P <0.05);the erythrocyte sedimentation rate was statistically significant between the two groups after treatment(P <0.05),and the difference between the two groups before and after treatment was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).After treatment,the pain score was statistically significant between the two groups(P <0.05),and the difference between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P <0.05).(2)After treatment,the blood uric acid level of the two groups of patients decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),and the level of the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).(3)After treatment,the clinical symptom scores of the two groups of patients were reduced and had statistical significance(P <0.05).the difference between the two groups before and after treatment was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).(4)After treatment in 45 cases,the total effective rate was 93.33%.The total effective rate of the control group was 77.77%.The clinical effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant.(5)The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was 6.67% and that in the control group was 8.89%.The adverse reactions in the two groups were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).Conclusion:(1)the Mahuang lianqiao Chixiaodou decoction can improve the symptoms and signs of patients with acute gouty arthritis.(2)The combined use of Mahuang Lianqiao Chixiaodou Decoction on the basis of western medicine improves the level of uric acid and pain scores of patients with acute gout with damp heat syndrome is better than those treated with western medicine(3)In this study,the superiority and safety of the Mahuang lianqiao Chixiaodou Decoction in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis have been verified,and it can be used in the treatment of clinical acute gouty arthritis.However,due to limited conditions,there is a lack of some objective observation and treatment,which is worthy of further research and application in the clinic.
