Differential Diagnosis Of RCC And Cystic Pituitary Adenoma And The Effect Of Endoscopic Treatment Of RCC

Objective: To study the differential diagnosis of RCC and cystic pituitary tumors and the effect of endoscopic treatment of RCC.Methods: A retrospective analysis of 49 patients with pathologically confirmed RCC who were treated in our hospital from June2015 to December 2019,and 49 patients with cystic pituitary tumors at the same period were randomly selected.According to clinical manifestations and surgery Pre-MRI signs were statistically analyzed to provide a basis for the differential diagnosis of the two,and the clinical efficacy of endoscopic treatment of RCC was analyzed for the symptoms and laboratory results of patients with RCC before and after surgery.Results: Differential diagnosis of patients with RCC and cystic pituitary tumors: abnormal pituitary hormone levels in clinical manifestations,invasion of para-saddle tissues and fluid-liquid levels on MRI tend to diagnose cystic pituitary tumors,sagittal position in the saddle,and uniform T1 signal 2.Enhance the smooth borders of the lesions and intra-cystic nodules tend to diagnose Rathke cysts.For the efficacy of endoscopic treatment of RCC: 34 patients with headache,32 patients with headache improved after surgery,2 menstrual disorders,normal menstruation,and 2 patients with reduced sexual function One case showed significant improvement in sexual function;twelve patients had visual impairment,and eight cases had improved vision after surgery.Conclusion: For the differential diagnosis of RCC and cystic pituitary tumors,the combined diagnosis of pituitary-related hormone levels and MRI signs should be used for diagnosis.Endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery for RCC can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms and improve hormone levels of patients,compared with other surgeries.Methods and approaches can better protect pituitary function.
