ObjectiveAnalysis of the correlation between platelet parameters and metabolic syndrome and TCM constitution,to explore the guiding value of platelet parameters in the diagnosis of metabolic syndrome and TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment.MethodsCollecting 462 normal people and 160 people with metabolic syndrome from the Physical Fitness Center of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2016 to December 2018.Including basic patient information, platelet count(PLT),mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet count(PCT),platelet volume distribution width(PDW),etc.Refer to the "Chinese Medicine Constitution Classification and Judging Criteria" promulgated by the Chinese Medicine Association of China in 2009 to classify TCM constitution.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS18.0 statistical software. The baseline characteristics of continuous variables obey the normal distribution expressed as meanąstandard deviation; The non-normal distribution is represented by the median and the interquartile range;T test for comparison between groups with normal distribution.Non-parametric rank sum test for non-normal distribution or variance.Comparison between the classification data groups.Hierarchical correlation analysis, and risk factor analysis was performed using unconditional stepwise logistic regression. The specificity and sensitivity of the predicted indicator boundary value were analyzed by ROC curve.Results1.There was a difference between PST,MPV,PCT and PDW in MS population and normal population(P<0.05).After adjusting for confounding factors such as gender and age,It has been found that PLT,MPV,PCT and PDW are risk factors for MS.After adjusting for confounding factors such as gender and age,it was found that PLT and MPV may be risk factors for MS.And with the increase of PLT and MPV,the risk of MS increases(OR=1.007,95%CI:1.003-1.Oil;OR=1.497,95%CI:1.237-1.812).2.PLT was positively correlated with normal damp-heat mass(OR=1.006,95%CI:1.001-1.010),MPV was positively correlated with normal sputum(OR=2.451,95%CI:1.597-3.771).3.MPV was positively correlated with the phlegm-dampening MS population(OR=1.987,95%CI:1.388-2.843);PDW was positively correlated with the damp-heat MS population(OR=6.361,95%CI:1.966-20.579).4.The phlegm-dampness was a risk factor for MS(P<0.01),and the risk of MS in the phlegm-dampness population was 10.419 times that of the non-humidity group(OR=10.419,95%CI:6.530-16.622).Damp heat quality is a risk factor for MS(P<0.01),and the risk of MS in the damp heat population is 2.204 times that of non-wet heat mass(OR=2.204,95%CI:1.289-3.767).Blood stasis was a risk factor for MS(P<0.05),and the risk of MS in the blood-stained population was 2.083 times higher than that of non-steroidal people(OR=2.083,95%CI:1.014-4.279).5.MPV is a risk factor for sputum MS in phlegm-dampness populations(OR=1.449,95%CI:1.056-1.987).In the damp-heat mass,PDW is a risk factor for damp-heat MS(OR=10.513,95%CI:2.758-40.083),and with the increase of PDW,the risk of MS increases significantly. In blood-stained people,PLT is a risk factor for blood stasis MS(OR=1.030,95%CI:1.004-1.058).ConclusionIt is known from the study that platelet parameters may be a risk factor for MS.As the platelet parameters increase, the risk of MS increases.People with dampness, damp heat, and blood stasis are susceptible to MS.In phlegm-dampness populations, the risk of MS may increase with increasing MPV values. In the damp-heat mass population,as the PDW value increases, the risk of MS increases. In blood-stained people, the risk of developing MS may increase as the PLT value increases.
